Having to make every little conversation over HCM or IM is excessively tedious.Quote: Also, Obsidian's people are on the front lines of the major demon portals. There are no "Small bands of sneaking demons" that dare attack these people. They have their pride for good reason.
Fixed that.

War-Overlord, how do you know my character is Kra'San? She is covered in thick robes that shadow any part of her except her beak. The point of this is to hide the fact that she is Kra'San.

A (near)master thief needs to be pretty obeservant. And unless there are several species of bird-people, the beak is a pretty big give-away.
Plus, one of her potions may have ended up in one of Boolroc's pockets.
Note to all:
Boolroc is fairly kleptomaniacal and an exelent pickpocket. Every now and again he may lift one of your items from you. I'll make note of this the next time in the IC.
If you confront Boolroc about it, he'll usually give it back without much fuss.

Can accept that excuse.
Quote: And unless there are several species of bird-people, the beak is a pretty big give-away.
Which there is, or atleast that is what me and Dagoth agreed on over msn. Kra'San are generally feared because of their "one known use - war", which is why Quasu is in hiding. So over msn with Dagoth we agreed on there being some other bird species to be named on another day or date.
Quote: Plus, one of her potions may have ended up in one of Boolroc's pockets.
How does that prove anything? *big eyes*

Noted.
Anyway, your char is observant and well-informed. Why doesn't he freak out over there being a Kra'San in the tavern? xP
...actually, right now that might be pretty common when you take into account there being a half-demon and a templar in the very same tavern xP

We agreed on there being more half-man half-beast races, designed by wizards and Swain has already hinted as much, indeed.

Yeah, that. What Dagoth said. Also, stay tuned Dagoth and we might be able to wrap this up today
EDIT: Also, just for future references(seeing as I forgot to mention this before) Kra'San are always, always talking in a very polite manner and they act politely as well. There are no ninja Kra'San as they would instinctely have to warn/apologize to their target before killing it.
As an example let me give you this:
A inn/tavern/whatever is in the middle of what is soon to be a battlefield with a Kra'San army on one side and some other guys on another. The Kra'San will then, out of instinct, go to the inn, knock on the door and warn the inhabitants that they have "5 minutes to get out before we tear this place apart. Sorry for the intrusion. Have a nice day, goodbye."

Lava glass,
So... Is obsidian just a hyper-advanced golem then? Are Templar some other wizardly or godly or demonical experiment?

Well aren't they.
The templar are a design made by some god of light to contain the demon threat. In essence, they are the anti-demon, non-angel, mortal force of golems that have been charged with keeping the demons from preventing the humans from running around, doing whatever they were made to do. But they can reproduce (don't ask), and have free will.
So a hyper-advanced God-made golem, I guess.

I'm about as complicated as you're going to get... I hope. The only thing I haven't revealed is how naturally clumsy the templar are... (Most demons that can hurt them aren't that fast... just hard to kill. More in-depth later)

More lore from WO!
Quote: Sobekans originate from the lands in the south, but over the ages they have spread everywhere where the winters aren't too long or harsh. Sobekans grow slowly compare to mamalian races but they grow older as well. Boolroc is, being in his 30s, only just out of what humans would consider their teens. He stands about 1.8 mtr high and is about 130 kg, making him slight for a Sobekan of his age. Sobekans are primarily carnivorous, though they eat fungi and dairy occasionally.
Sobekans have the reputation of being ruffians and pirates, and where that is often true, it is a gross generalisation. Sobekans are generally a proud people, but other than in Nile'Is they have no country where they are the major race. Sobekans also have the false reputation of being canibals. Sobekans never eat their own kind, though they would have little compunction in eating members of other races. In general, Sobekans aren't a spiritual race, though individuals may adhere to a specific deity. Those rare Sobekans that actually become priests are known for their unorthodoxy and pragmatism.

My addition to the game world:
Dwarwen clans, hierarchy, technology, etc.
A dwarwen clan is in fact a large cooperation of several dwarf families. The number of families can range from 3-5 to a few dozen.
Each clan is named most commonly after it's main industry(for example Magnus's clan operates a large iron and steel industry, hence the name), others take their name after the mountain they live in or a specific symbol.
Each clan is ruled by a thane and a council of dwarwen nobles and industrialists. Each clan is semi independent and is ruled by the High Thane, who is also the thane of his clan, which is the largest one. The High Thane's Council consists of Thanes from all other clans. We can make a conclusion that the clans are a kingdom which is scattered throughout the continent/world.
(The tech section may change if Dagoth disapproves)
Dwarwen technology is a bit further advanced than human. They use primitive steam engines in their industrial and siege machines. Their guns are more reliable and the dwarwes are starting to use smokeless gunpowder, though it's still rare. For long distance travels dwarwes use blimps and hot air balloons, however they're expensive to make so only the richest clans can manufacture them.
Dwarwes favour blitzkrieg when attacking and trench warfare when defending. Their main tactic is to quickly overpower the oponent with rifle volleys followed by artilerry barrages. Each of the troops are armed with a firearm and a melee weapon or a combination of both(Magnus's weapon is an example of a combi weapon). Their main siege engine is known as a Steam Tank, a huge mobile bombard powered by a steam engine. It's manned by a crew of six(driver, engineer, three loaders and a gunner) Due to the engine's instability it's prone to explosions. The dwarwes also employ a vast asortiment of other cannons and use gryphons for scouting and aerial assaults.
Dwarwes worship only one god: Alberich, God of stone and forge. The offerings are geode, chunks of obsidian and moldavite, and master crafted weapons. Alberich enbodies the strenght, pride and hard work of the dwarwen people.

Oh, so we're intentionally misspelling dwarves, are we?
All right, I like the steampunkish thing, though I think trench warfare is pretty stupid with the current technology (and the possibility of golems and wizards wrecking your stuff is always jolly entertaining in a non-mobile war.) Though, you're free to keep it, as we're not going to dwarven lands anyway!
EDIT: Why? Because I'm the DM and I say so!
