Mr.Dragon's Art and Creatures game!
Rules are simple, there are two kinds of posts:
Art submission post, where you post a picture you yourself drew (or made through any other medium) without any description of any kind, it is allowed to be a depiction of a classic mythological creature or even a fan-art of a different game, book, movie etc.
(but you cannot say what it is or where it's from)
Edit: bit late now, but please try to stick to one picture per post and give people time to throw in some creature submissions.
Edit2: Also add a number to your image so people can easily tag their creature descriptions.
Creature submission post, where you add a name, description, tier, abilities and other special notes to a submitted art piece.
The creature should be a Heroes creature, so it should fit into Ashan or one of the hypothetical sequel settings for HoMMVII.
You are allowed to tie it into any faction as an allied neutral including into a fan-made faction you like.
Another thing is: you must actually want this creature to be part of the game, design it in mind with making it a functional creature.
You are allowed to make creature submission posts for creatures that already had submissions posted.
Edit: can also be a hero submission alternatively.
Edit2: Please add number tags so people can easily link a creature description to an image without having to repost images and flooding the thread in terrible load times.
In both cases feel free to add anything you want to say, like guessing a what the artist wanted to depict or what kind of fan-art it is.

Wow...that looks amazing, i could never draw like that. It looks like it would be a champion for the dungeon or some other underground faction. It looks like a behemoth on steroids

gargantuan
unknown in it's origin, the gargantuan only exists to hunt and devour. smelling out it's pray with it's many tongues, it stalks, it's blood encrusted claws scratching at stone and bark, it's many mouths dripping saliva. When roused to anger, or cheated of it's prey, the gargantuan flies into a rage, charging after it's target both overground and underground, demolishing castles and cities until it finds it's target.

You're really making it hard for a creature submission to meet the requirements of a functional creature, it's not really what this thread was for, but meh..... here goes.
Al-Yazhim, the Humble (image number 2)

Al-Yazhim is a brilliant mage, perhaps one of the most brilliant ever to grace the seven cities, but yet despite that, or maybe because of that, he seems incredibly out of place amongst the excentricity and finery of other Archmages, his favorite hobby is pretending to be senile and playing pranks on people, particularly attractive young women. (he's a bit of a pervert, but harmless)
He looks like an unassuming old man in clothes of common folk, but when roused unveils power that rivals entire armies.
Tier: Boss
Associated faction: Academy
Abilities:
Grand Master of Sorcery.
Al-Yazhim can cast three spells each turn instead of one, Al-Yazhim knows all spells from all schools and has infinite mana.
Pacifist.
Al-Yashim cannot deal damage.
Battle victory condition: Defeat Al-Yazhim within nine rounds of combat.
Battle loss condition: start of the ninth round.
Battle context: "evil" campaign battle, your (anti-)hero encounters Al-Yazhim who decides to stall for time, preventing you from completing some vital objective.
During the fight he will mostly cast buffs on himself and debuffs on your creatures, dispell your summons and use various utility spells to his advantage.

Whatever, it's not even art. Just a quick doodle I've kept stored on my computer.

True I should have made it maybe a little clearer.
That said, I think it was both quite doable and enjoyable to work on your doodle like that, so thanks for playing along!
(not to mention that it's pretty damn recognizable for a doodle, am I correct in assuming it's Dumbledore? the glasses remind me of him, or is it just a random old dude?)

As much as I adore having my ego stroked... I have a deviant art account for that.
So whilst I do appreciate it very much, thanks a lot, I love when people love my drawings, I'd prefer if people posted submissions (either art or creatures) and play the game.

Here are some original characters drawn years ago, with no attached biographies, but I did try to instill some personalities into them via picture alone... I want to hear ppl's biographies/abilities/skills/stats for them!

Added a few more rules to the opening post for structures sake, number wise, we're up to 8 images now.
In the above post, please consider them numbered 5 to 8 starting top left -> top right -> bottom left -> bottom right.
Veteran Gunner (Image number 7)
(upgrade of Rifleman)
These heavily armored soldiers are given the finest and most recent weapons brought forth by dwarven gunpowder technology, truly a symbol of the relations of man and dwarf.
Dressed in heavy armor and hardened by countless battles, these soldiers are now at the forefront of Haven's military.
Tier: Core
Associated Factions: Haven and Fortress (Ashan's version of it)
Abilities.
Heavy Armor: Reduces all damage taken from ranged physical attacks by 30%.
Ballistic expertise: the damage penalty on shooting at long range or past obstructions is reduced by 50%.
Veteran's reflexes: if an enemy unit moves into a square adjacent to the Veteran Gunner and there are no other enemies adjacent to the Veteran Gunner, he attacks the target for 50% of normal damage.

For the last pic
S'alaar'an [="Silent Eye"]
Faction & Tier Neutral of an evil Faction, Core (would put them into dungeon, but they could also be featured in Sanctuary (to give it a darker overall style) Inferno, or any Lizardman/Swamp Faction.
Abilities:
-Silent Eyes: When you have at least one of this creature in your army, you get more detailed information about enemy army, and (if such is in game) have less chance to be deceived. The effect gets more certain with more S'alaar'ans in an army.
-Flyer
-Unfold the Eyes: Activated Ability. Can be used once/battle, paralyzes one enemy creature in awe.
Description:
These strange beings are creatures of the night, untamed swirling through the night air in swarms. Against natural foes, as Gryffins or Wyverns, they deceive themselves as larger beings through the big eyes on their wings, which are, anyhow, real and can look. This is not only a superb sense for this creature, it also awes many foes in any battle, looking both scaring and unnaturally strange. Elves and Men make a sport hunting these vile creatures down, who, on the other hand, hunt men and elves - for their tasty flesh.
