When I start the game from the file "Might & Magic Heroes VI - Internal Private Closed Beta" it first checks for ubisoft updates and then brings me to a Uplay screen. where it says that uplay is unavailable, but that I am still able to play the game. So I press the play button in the right buttom corner. But then the program encounters an error and has to shut down. Have reinstalled it several times, but the same problem keeps occuring.

@ Elvin/Cepheus : Do you think the full game will come out 8th Sept 2011? It seems like with the public beta coming out 28th June, Ubihole might need more that this time gap to rectify any problems...

My game downloads, installs, and does the 2 updates. Afterwards, however, everytime I tell it to play it just pops up like it needs to download an update and then closes with nothing else happening.

I am not familiar with either issue.. You updated to 1.2 then? Play should simply launch

I click play, shows black screen for starting the game, shows the cursor, and then BAM Might and Magic Heroes 6 has stoped working. -.- And I have 1.2 too...and I had an error during the instal, but it didn't abort...

Mine works perfectly well. Only had a chance to play for an hour though. No crashes so far either, just "Uplay is unavaliable..." (on the launcher thingo) but I have a feeling that's normal(?)
How long is the PreBeta going to last?

I think the closed beta has been running since beginning of June with the VIPs and got extended around June, 8th-9th to admins/moderators of the main communities. We knew (and I posted it several times in this topic) that the closed beta would end tomorrow

Sadly, there are ar always casualties  The beta works for the vast majority.
As for your problem it can be anything, corrupted install, old graphic drivers or simply your computer not good enough. Try installing the latest drivers for your video card, else try reinstalling the game.

Finally managed to play a little, after some time visibility was better and I could even see some ingame videos. Couldn't recruit any more troops from towns because of special week + bug (maybe) but I still won all fights without casualties until I reached lv4 and met the strongest AI hero. Still very tedious and sluggish but better than not playing . I'll wait for the next version, maybe it will be improved on the graphic requirements. A new graphic card satisfying recommendations costs +- 250 eur (almost a new comp ).

reinstall, you might have a corrupted file
