QPs are unique to this forum and a part of its spirit. More mods are required for this system to work as intended.

Hmm... how long does he usually take to reply to you? Val doesn't strike me as a person who'd ignore the issue simply because it's an uncomfortable one. He must have realized that the problem is quite real afterall.

Hey, sorry for not getting the HCM until it expired. E-mail is a better way to contact me these days.
It is true that I am not dedicating a lot of time to HC due to other projects in life. Appointing an assistant admin is not really possible because there is no "admin interface" as such, and I would not want to spend time creating it.
Removal of inactive moderators is a valid point. New moderator applications can be sent to me via e-mail.
If someone would like to become the official uploader of avatars, this ability can be given without too much effort.

It seems Corribus volunteered to be a mod, so if any progress could be made in that direction, that'd be great.

Well, good news. Sent you an application, Val. Since there's no real confirmation whether it got to you or not, I gotta ask for one here, lol
Other games exist too is where I could help the most, since the place has many QP-worthy posts that rot there without notice, but MM is busy IRL.

But Shyranis you'd probably handle the osm right? Hmm... then we'd have 3 mods in the osm. That's hardly a bad thing though since I doubt angelito couldn't use the help.
So yeah go Shyranis! I suggest you write him an email too though a post in here might not be sufficiently "official" . And do new mods need any kind of endorsement? Since back in the day I guess Val knew the people he made mods but now? I mean ok Corribus and Doom are kinda no-brainers since they're about as old as HC but Shyranis? Someone "offical" to vouch for her perhaps? Or is Val just going to go with it^^?

Well if I still have any say, I'll definitely vouch that Shyranis would be an excellent moderator as long as she has the time. I know she is quite busy in RL, but certainly one of the most trustworthy and dedicated members here.

Problem solved. And well I'm sure she has enough time... she doesn't have to be arround 24/7 as it is she only drops by occasionally but the important part is she knows what's going on (atleast in the osm) and she's interested. What more could we wish for^^?
