I didn't realise current mods were so fresh. Its good to see there's still recruitment happening here. Although I wonder if the issue of inactive mods was looked at, or just forgotten when more were hired.

I thought we had a second admin already anyway... Did anyone read the saga of Bob in taverns greatest?
Some mods prefer the back seat approach. Doing their clean ups and not posting much, but you still see their names in the online members. Shadowcaster for instance is a grade A lurker. There are a couple others who havnt posted in 6+ months, nor are they ever online.
Not that it really matters
Edit: A little suggestion that was implemented a while ago but has obviously been forgotton with mods leaving/new mods. All tavern mods should be moderators of the VW as well. This makes moving dead/rubbish tavern threads into the VW easier, and moving good threads into the tavern if need be.

Problem with this is that this site isn't as active as it once used to be so another admin isn't as necessary as it would have been a few years back. The moderators at the moment are handling things fine, imo. There's not a lot of newcomers that really tend to stay. It's pretty much the same old members posting things in the same old forums. Don't really even see this as an issue anymore. 2008, maybe...

Thing is, we still need an admin. Having one that is ACTIVE is still better than having one who doesn't even bother appearing more than once every four months.

I guess so but the forum isn't in that dire of a situation that an admin is 100% necessary. The forum operates fine and the moderators are doing their jobs well for the limited activity we get on this forum.

I have to agree with will, a second admin who knows how to code and bla bla, may not be the best option. What it boils down to is there is nobody to make imporant decisions when Val isn't around. Maybe what we need is a head moderator, someone who can make decisions for Val when he isn't around.

I expected a flood of new members once H6 was released, but was sort of surprised that not many people joined. perhaps the game is deemed too much of a disappointment to attract many people to HC? H5 weas certainly different and HC went through "second youth" because of it.

Offtopic but 4, 5 and 6 weren't that great to me. Good but not extraordinary. Nothing can top the majestic III
About the secondary admin, I don't know if it's really needed...do we have any nominees?
