again, these are niggles on my part as "Loremaster" of this world.
now, for my character.
Name: Yorin Thunderbrow
Age: 64
Gender: male
Race: Dwarf
Position: Beat officer
Station/ beat: East hutten
Eye colour: brown
Hair colour: brown with flecks of grey.
Brief history: Yorin has been in the force for about 20 years and has been a beat officer all that time. His family work as professional runecrafters in central, with him being the only one to work in the polmet. After several run-ins with the Kilburns, the smilers, the stone hand, and Machina cult, he is beginning to feel his age. Cynical and gruff as only a dwarf can be, he is dogged in his pursuit of order in the city.
Relationships: Family is still very much alive. currently engaged with a jade elf, Kiro Watanabe.
Spells: Being a dwarf, Yorin can't use spells, but is completely immune to them.
Trappings: standard issue mail armour, Net Gun, statis glyphs, communication necklace, red tape, pistol. Also known to heft around a large hammer.
edit: so far, everything is looking fantastic.
Nodanlock sounds a bit too western. try Kanjusa (which is rough hindi for tightwad. considering they are bankers, it might be appropriate.)

Okay I changed the name to Kanjusa.
I also added a rapier amongst his trappings, even a rich troll needs to be able to defend himself, and it also looks cool.

Again, thanks for the effort. But I kinda meant all players. Once this is rolling along, I think we'll do just fine. But getting this started is difficult. And to be honest I'm having a little writers block.

I'd put it down to a gang shooting, unless Wog_edn say's otherwise. the smilers wouldn't engage in gunfights, that's something you'd get the Malia or the Behemoth cartel doing, or a random street gang. Moorstreet is technically in the gutter and the docklands, which is an area of uncertainity among criminal organisations, with the Docklands being controled by the Cartel and the Gutter being somewhat of a free-for-all.

Check previous page, several officers are wounded and such. Also it's in the gutter, I don't think they care as much about the gutter as they would about the noble streets.

I would suggest it was a gang shooting, possibly between an orc gang and the behemoth cartel.
Also, whilst deaths in the gutter are a bit higher, they are treated with the same severity as that of any other part of the city. The reason Captain Clash runs such a strict operation is to keep the gangs in order.
