yeah, batch processing would definitely help. it took me a couple months(if i remember right) just to make the nude pixie(which i have to fix, anyway; as her breasts are too large in comparison to her body). i've only done one frame so far. i'm dreading the rest. too bad batch processing can't be used for that.
a year is a lot of time to finish a complete set for something, to be sure.

Really few (3-5 in most cases) days at each 1/4 year and few minutes each weak. Not 24 hours every 7 days every 52 weaks. Lol.

I think there are some games using them, but not sure is compatible 3ds.

Open Game Art is 99% ugly:-)
Still I found archer, pikeman and swordsman on opengameart.org, that are not bad at all.
