“Honey, have you checked the baby’s diaper?”
“No, did we get beeped?”
(No response, uses eyes to look around room)
“Where’s the controller?”
“Where it always is”
“I hate it when you bark orders at me. Do this, do that.”

I just received an e-mail that companies are hard at work to bring the world; devices that barrage their customers with...messages that will...fill-in-the-blank.
Cell-phones. What an appropriate name. Those prison towers dot the land where I sit but what grows in the air in and around our heads?

Quote: ...what?
Adrius, I've described a possible glimpse of life soon to come. This is one form of pollution to me. wife+husband+machine. Hate it when it comes to changing a diaper.
I'm not going to site the source. I don't intend to promote this insanity. Companies want to have many products that use wireless; like "diapers" with a transmitter that alerts wonderful parents that their pride and joy has a wet butt.
@anyone, I'm open to learning; how would you "write-out" electronic sounds?
One deeper reach about the pollution aspect. It is now known that invisible (but over long-exposure...deadly) energy surrounds power stations and power lines. People that live under them can have much higher statistical incident of cancer etc.
I'm stretching things out a bit but along the same premise; do folks think that the growing wireless traffic in the air has no risks? I'm curious as to what folks believe in much the same fashion as microwaves posed zero-risk was once embraced. Now, cooking your food in plastic?=Bad idea.
Here's a more pointed question. Does our "air-space" reveal GPS communications in some way? Like the old TV broadcast signals did/do.
