I just realized something. None of us, with the exception of War-Overlord, has come up with any appearance description of out characters!
EDIT: Also I'll be watching a movie, so I'm back in two hours or something.

Well in all fairness Overlord has a point. But it's all trivial if the Inquisition pardons it. And yeah I still need to post my apperance didn't find a acceptable place to post it yet .

He does indeed, but as I said: My approach to this RPG is: "You will die, the question is how and when." so don't worry about it. Besides, it's not like I'm going to walk around boasting about how I deserted the Imperial Navy. My character is smart enough to know that certain secrets is best buried deep deep into your soul, and should never see the light of day, especially in-front of a Commissar.
EDIT: Also, just noticed that Kip can claim another accessory(if he wants to). Also, added appearance description as well as equipment list to my character sheet(found on page 7).

Allrighty. I take it we're still on Theseus(kind of sort of) but we're free to jump to Ares as soon as we've all been properly recruited(Me at least haven't spoken to the Inquisitor directly. I just made the notion that I would head for the Inquisition)? Yeah. I'm just going to go right ahead and assume I'm right ( ) (But isn't assumption the mother of all snow-ups B-E-T-A?)

Yeah, I got the same kind of impression. I just got to present myself to the Inquisitor formally in the RPG. That will mean: I will make some post about me entering the Inquisition HQ and just say "hi" to the receptionist(if those exist) and then ask if anyone needs a skilled operative or something along those lines.

Not sure if you've read my posts so far but everything suggests that the Ol'Tan have a man inside the Inquisition perhaps someone important. The point is Alexander is taking every precation so he most certainly didn't "officially request" anything ergo the "receptionist" won't be sending you to me. Either I find you or you'll be part of the group on Omegas recommendation.
Anyways I'll update tomorrow evening if possible, I don't have much time today. If everyone is ok with it I'd say we should take some time to socialize before we enter the Ares system for real. I'd prefer for us to socialze on my ship which would be en route to Ares. That would mean the introductions would be out of the way or a memory but I won't write anything until you tell me whether you're ok with that.
And yeah I'll think about something for Beta...

Wait. So if we accept socialising on your ship we don't get our intro scene? Wait. W00t?! *scratches head* that might leave a loophole concerning me as I(at least) would be asking myself "How did I end up here?" But once we get the "how Mac Tavor joined the team." out of the way I would be all up for socialising.

BETA if we were to do as I propose it would mean that the introductions already took place, everyone would know who Alexander is and that they're working for him. That doesn't mean we'd skip them. In your case yes we'd have to have found a reason for me to recruit you.
For now all I want to know is if everyone is ok with my next post being set on my ship (I'd have a large ship with training facilities and sleep accomodations for everyone etc. I just have to come up with a disguise yet) en route to the Ares system or whether there is something important they want to get done before that.
Like I said that would mean the introductions are behind us already which doesn't mean you can't write one and implement it as a recall or memory.

If you want to I can recruit you on Theseus in real time and then simply
Timejump to our flight to Ares if everyone else is fine with that (because considering the fact that many still have to get to Theseus I find it unneccesarily complicated to remain there).

This would also be okay, but you decide what is best, after all, thou are ze inquisitive type. Thou are the chosen main character. If my way of being recruited would ruin your cover then we scratch that and do whatever you find out is the best way to recruit me.
EDIT: Also, I'm starting to understand how Dagoth feels in this RPG. It's like being a child trying to act like a grown-up amongst the teenage "cool kids"
EDIT: Although in Dagoth's case it was his lack of knowledge of this universe that made him feel like that. For me it's nervousness mixed with the feeling that you guys knows this universe better than I that makes me feel like this and it also makes me in-decisive and insecure about all other stuff that I really should be secure in being an experienced RPer(a few years here on the Glade) and all

I have nothing against socialising on the ship. But my char is already on Ares. Or in orbit of Ares, I'm not certain yet.

Also, I'm rambling.
My knowledge is flawed. I know a lot, but only on a few subjects. I know many, many things about the Imperial Guard and have a good understanding of the Tau and the Orks. My knowledge of the Space Marines is adequate, but lacking the knowledge of special chapters. The rest I know little more of than stated in the Lexicanum.

^Yeah, will do if I get any real questions. Originally(right after I went to bed after writing my first post on the RPG) a question about what I myself had written in the post hit me: "Is it possible to alone own a ship in the Imperium? Back when I read about the Imperial Fleet I ended up with the impression that the Empire owned all vessels in the Imperium, but I didn't read that much so...could I?" and then later was "Even if I had a ship, could I have had a ship with the size and the equipment needed to travel between planets, without any form of crew? And if I now could own a ship, but would need a crew. What do I do with them?"
But after waking up the next day and seeing that nobody raised an eyebrow or asked questions about it, I decided not to ask them. But I'll just put them up here to become 100% certain.
Anyway, just to make it clear: Jumping forward to socializing on the ship is okay by me.
