Played couple of duels in beta 1.4.
Resurrection not fixed.
Petrification now have cool-down 4 turns.
Good thing chat generate communication windows between me and opponent, but for now no one answers to my "hi", "gl". Chat continue to have problems, need more improvement.

Exactly the same balancing issues as before....
Tier 1: haven/necro
Tier 2: stronghold
.
.
.
Tier 9: sanc
Tier 10: inferno
Weavers still do ridiculous damage, and any balancing changes they did (I think, but am not sure, that they made necro special slower to accumulate) is minimal. I'm glad that breeders have their animation fixed, but their attack is still crap. Hey, they have range penalty...so why not at least make their attack stronger to make up for that? Oh well...
Retribution aura seems to be reduced, so it's not as game breaking as before. Petrify has been fixed. Resurrect has NOT been fixed.

I switched for a moment from Haven to Sanctuary. I try to prove Sanctuary is not weak. Played one duel today as Sanctuary vs Necro barrage build and just owned him. To be continued ...
Someone use in his duel hero build Air "Storm wind 1, 2" ? Necro have many shooters, i think is logical to use Storm wind in this case. But 20% damage reduction for enemy shooters look weak ability to me. It is this ability under-powered or I am wrong ?

Not sure, is it affected by spellpower or air magic? If memory serves stormwinds 2 also casts lightning on random enemy stacks though the damage is rather minor. Either way sanctuary is a pretty awesome faction, love it.

Since i could play a little with 1.4:
Hopefully they will increase the priority of 'fixing' the connection timeout bug. And i also get now a graphical bug with Kirins mist (it does not disappear).
Mighty slam nerf along with fixing petrification might have made stronghold v necro much more interesting.
Its pretty likely now that retribution is intended to work on retaliation, and even with the nerf in stats haven and especially sanctuary have a really strong counter to might heroes now..
With double retribution, and the double regeneration + mist 'trick' sanctuary is really good (of course kensei does normal damage on four wave strikes, and kappa is broken still..). First turn tsunami, spirit bond, second turn retri or regen etc. etc.. is pretty solid.
Tear necro might with heroic charge/pressed attack is still strong as well (180 necromancy points per killing an enemy stack is pretty rough) And also the fact that weaver can 'recharge' baleful gaze is pretty funny (i dont think it worked before).
And i had some bug with inner fire (it gave only init).
Is there any 'hot new strat' with inferno? (I dont think i will be able to try them).

I won't be able to test this for some time (at least a week, probably more) but from the listed changes it seems that the general ranking between the factions will remain unchanged. So far they don't seem to get the idea that the "healing factions" need to be forced to do something different from constantly bringing back their troops until the opponent dies and that the said opponents need their general performance improved.

Ownage ? No, is pure ownage ! Take a look, no stack dead, minor looses. Much easier to play Sanctuary compared to Haven ...

I guess you're abusing Retribution Aura and moreover the Stronghold player seems rather... disorientated judging from the fact that he has picked Panther Warriors over a second Dreamreaver stack. My last game against a decent Sanctuary player (without Retribution Aura) had similar results but the roles were reversed.

Oh, right, a very weak opponent then. I strongly doubt that you'll manage to achieve similar results against a decent Stronghold player. Sanctuary can do well but not THAT well if the skills are even.

No, they get the message, they just don't understand how to solve the problem. Why do you think they keep increasing cooldown of healing spells?

I want to be able to see the weekly growth of the creatures.
Since there is a beastiary ( I'm sure it's called "bestiary" but I like to call it "beastiary") Wouldn't it be nice with same thing but with artifacts? When you get/see a new artifact it will be unlocked in the "artifact beastiary" just like with units. Is it possible to ask if they
can add this?

Oh, actually, you're right. Sanctuary has been buffed a bit, they seem to be better than stronghold now. Inferno is still too weak though.
EDIT:
I've done testing with a friend and now the tiers seem more like:
Tier 1: Haven
Tier 2: Necro
Tier 4: sanctuary
Tier 7: Stronghold
...
Tier 10: Inferno
If you think haven is weak or sanctuary can beat necro/haven, feel free to add me ingame and we can test =P (I am e3772014)

so you are trying to tell us that it is decent and correct to pick two same stacks in duels, and not abusing at all huh?

Being able to pick two same stacks in duels is an inteded game element, while retribution did not work as intended pre-patch. (Against might heroes it is still very (too?) strong, and to top that off sanctuary could/can double abuse it.)

I wonder why sanctuary is in the need of any proof that it is not too weak though. Even pre-patch it could put up a fight against necro, (and with double retri it had a fair chance to beat it).
The main idea was, that with spirit bond, and the mist of kirin, you could 'heal' a lot. Going through the mist step by step you can get that 5 turn regeneration in one turn thats 3k base-heal, and you could get it to two units with spirit bond, thats 6k (nonmodified) healing power in one turn. Also corals could make a 3k regen (in 3 turns), with spirit bond thats 6k again and with mist it can be done in one turn. (There are many other game elements (most involves mist), but this is already really strong).

But even with that said 'random pics' from duels dont say too much, i had similar results against almost all faction with any faction, all it takes is an inexperienced opponent. Sanctuary is surely strong, but i would only post results against 'provenly' good/experienced players.
