It's not "AI art". It's computer-supported art. It's more or less the same a having a random map generator. The thing produces stuff usable for certain things, plus you can take the product as a beginning for something you then work with in the editor.

There is a difference between graphics and "art"; it's high time that the gaming industry gets tools to produce graphics faster and cheaper to reduce costs

Manifesto (2015) was the most interesting and original, yet fun film I have seen for quite a while. It simply features Cate Blanchett playing various characters, narrating art manifestos from (mostly early) 20th century. There is a continuity and composition in the way they are presented but here is a sample; a collage of Dada manifestos including the one from 1918, fittingly installed in a funeral scene.

Take for example Mona Lisa. How many years took to finish it? A whole life and still not done.

True! Maybe you-all remember what I wrote in the VW a few times, because you talked about art.. Now I get the old paper.. My work was never finished due to an ugly eyes, what my friend said so.. Ok I said work isn't ready.. Colouring was missing, etc Ok you see that man smokes marijuana, and marijuana smoke creates elephant.. But what would have been added, etc due to my friend.. I'm not in hurry!

I think AI art is problematic for a lot of artists, big and small. In the furry community a lot of people rely on designing characters for others and if everyone would rely on AI they would literally lose their income.

Often AI can't depict personal traits as perfect tho but if they keep improving in this pace...not a big fan of the idea

Art is something that funds AI development, so, of course, a necessary step in the great scheme.
