Confusion is useless ?
Confusion is useless ability ? When i casted it on one of the range units, affected unit everytime can use their range attack and everytime he can retaliate agains my attacks
Confusion for what ?

for that you need expert dark magic, or it will only reduce their damage. (by 70 or 90%)

No, Confusion does nothing, if you want i can add screenshot. Only curse will shows at the statue. No damage reduce, no prevent retaliation, no prevents ranged attacks at all Confusion = Nothing, I have a witches i'm splitting theirs for the use Confusion one of them, for 2 days i'm trying to doing something but nothing changes.

I remember at some stage there was a bug - advanced confusion reduced shot / retaliation damage by 10% instead of 90%. Make sure it's not the case and/or download patches.

Confusion is really only at its best once you get it to expert dark. It won't stop enemies from using range, casting spells or retaliating until you get it to Expert level, it will only reduce the damage ranged attacks, spells and retaliations deal.
Confusion (or mass confusion) is actually one of the most annoying/ powerful spells in the game. Watch out for it...

No no i wasn't say "spell is not good" i said "spell is not working !" today i'm re-installed game and re-applied patches but nothing was changed.
There are no damage reduce, no prevent retaliation, no prevent ranged attack using or nothing, just "confuse" icon appears........

It's not useless, it's ******* annoying when the enemy uses it on my archers. Pretty peeved at that.
But Confusion is not the best spell out there.
