So H5 had paedophilia and H6 implied incest?
I am relieved that Ubisoft seems capable of handling such serious subject matters.

Really? Zehir is the most interesting character in Heroes 5. Isabel is also interesting. She's not the typical "all women are perfect angels" character. In the original Heroes 5, the writers had the balls to portray women in a negative light. They chickened out in the expansions.
The character I hate the most is a toss up between Freyda and Ornella. Freyda is just useless, she literally looks like an Isabel twin. Plus she's an arrogant snow. Orenella was useless. She contributed nothing to the story.

I don't know about my opinion but Isabel is worst character and I'll include her in my Top 20 Worst Video Game Characters.
I believe that Raelag, Anastasya, Zehir, Gotai, Godric, Nicolai, Slava, Irina and Laszlo are best characters.

I think they missed a huge opportunity with Kiril.
The premise is actually really good to have some poor luckless sap find himself in hell. Where they totally could have made an awesome character would be to give him a very dry and self-deprecating sense of humor and kind of a subtle bitterness to him. Kiril actually does alot of cool things and Sarah is really cool too but
He was given the absolute worst whiny voice and also given horrible one liners that essentially nullified everything interesting he did.

Kiril and Zehir were 2 of the worst characters for me.
I think their terrible voice-acting had a large part to play in this...

I always liked Findan.I'm not really sure why all the hate...
My most hated character would probably be Biara.The most enfuriating out of all the characters and you actually have to wait until the end of the tribes of the east campaign to get rid of her...

Same case with Agrael. Ubi apparently has issues with making "cool noble demon" types without making them sound like complete dorks.
I have no issues with Raelag, but his dialogue as Agrael in The Conquest is THE WORST!

It has been long since I played the HoMM 5 campaigns, so I better choose a hero from MMH6 instead.
Duke Anton is by far the character I hated most, especially in the very first level of his campaign. It's clear that the Church of Elrath is based on medieval Christianity with all its inquisition and persecution of heretics etc, but Anton makes it even worse. Orcs are forced to call Elrath 'Father Elrath' and are not permitted to worship Father Sky. If they refuse, they must leave. Followers of the slowly forgotten Ylath, to whom there are still some temples in the Duchy are confronted with similar inqusition, send to them by Anton's order (he tells about this).
Anton is the embodiment of religious fanaticism of the kind I cannot tolerate  . I really wanted to punch him in the face every now and then. Also in the second level, when he declares he has no advisor but Elrath and even starts arguing with Michael. No, Anton is not the Duke I'd willingly follow.

Queen Isabel. Oh, she is awfully designed. Her voice acting in Polish was also riddiculous, both in base game and expansion packs. Sandor was also annoying. My favourites, on the other hand, are Zehir and Arantir, especially the latter one. I hope that he willget even some.small role in Heroes VII. I would love to see him again, as he is just an apprentice, on his long way to leadership.

Raelag is cool, except for this strange crush on Isabel. I mean, what the hell, dude?
I'm gonna vote Kiril though. You're in Sheogh, kid. Stop acting like an arrogant brat.
I'd vote Zehir, if he was on the list. He was cool in vanilla Heroes, but he annoyed the hell out of me in ToE, particularly the way he just went and concluded entire dwarven storyline on a whim.
By the way, is this the right place to complain how Heroes 6 totally ripped the sibling theme from Clash of Heroes, with much less sensible justification for them belonging to different factions?
