There is also a bug (?) now that makes stickies not inflict damage after you die.
So if you throw a sticky at a heavy, and then he kills you, and the sticky explodes, he takes no damage.
So yeah, the INF love is overwhelming with this patch.

Now that just stings. Revenge was always my favorite way to go out as an infiltrator.

Also a bug involving throwing stickies.
If you have several grenades and you spam them (against a Generator for example) all your grenades are depleted but only 2 come out.
So you can have 5 of them and try to take out a lvl 4 Gen but you will only get to throw 2 regardless.
Seems this bug affects all grenades.
EDIT:
Also the Stealth Fusor is currently bugged and does no extra damage to armored despite the patch notes saying otherwise.

Yep, and I can confirm the bug where the stickies do no damage after death. I can also confirm the loss of grenade bug. It would seem that the counter subtracts faster than one can throw grenades. You do however not loose the grenade(s), they just become inaccessible until the counter is updated, id est when you pick up an ammo pack, since it's reset completely at stations.
Example: If you have four stickies and spam their gener your counter may reach zero as you throw your third grenade. This means that you cannot access your last grenade, but it will return when you pick up an ammo pack, thus giving you 2 or 3 grenades, depending on wether you have the looter perk or not.

My proposed INF balance fix as posted on the official forums.
...
I would solve this "turret problem" (which I don't really think is a problem in the first place) by letting the turrets lead on to where you were going when you turned on cloak.
Example with epic painting skills.
Instead of removing a layer of tactics for the INF like Hirez did in the patch, this would give the INF even more depth.
You can still preserve energy by cloaking and de-cloaking quickly, but to not get blasted by turrets you need to move in a pattern that tricks it. Not the easiest thing to do when several turrets are crossfiring each other.
That would be my solution anyway.

Link me to that thread, please. My proposed solution was replacing the cloaking delay with a regen delay. One would still be able to conserve great ammounts of energy in the same manner as before, but regaining it would take a protected break, out of combat.

Trying to do something difficuly and doing it well is such an amazing feeling. It's a very special feeling everytime you hit a blueplate, for example... or when you manage to perfectly kite a brute when you're playing infiltrator... or when you manage to predict where an inf went several seconds after he went invisible.
That feeling afterwards as your guts relaxes a bit, you straighten your back and sigh with a proud and slightly smug smile on your face. Yeah... good times.
What's your name on there, by the way? I'm Shaeress.

Honey.
edit: I feel kind of bashful playing with you guys since I get the impression you two are a whole league above me in skill. I'm not a bad player anymore but I'm definitely not great either.
I haven't gotten into an FPS for quite awhile and I'm thinking I might want to get a more advanced mouse to help out. What I'm using right now is pretty standard.

Don't worry about it. It's all on pubs and the skill levels are already very varied and the last time even liked an FPS was propably Unreal Tournament 2004 and I just played the occational vs AI with three-four of my friends.
As for the mouse I guess that helps a little after you reach a certain point of precision, but I'm playing on an artboard and doing rather fine (though the shrike is kind of a bother, but that might just be the shrike actually), so it can't be that important.

Honey?
Truly a name that invokes fear and respect. I'll add ya.
I'm Adrius on there as well. I likely can't come to you since my ping is at 120-140 level mostly and trying to play on a US server will probably make my internet melt. Feel free to join up, I'm usually with Shaeress since he's always online ^^
I get the feeling you're more skilled than me now, you were before as well but the gap is bigger now... especially considering the artboard.

Honestly though I find this game rather boring right now.
INF was the only class I really enjoyed playing and since the nerf... meh.
Also got laughed at by an entire server today again for claiming that INF was not easy mode and requires skill. Pathfinders... I can't stand most of them. So fricking annoying with their GOTTA GO FAST mentality and hating on everything that counters them.
Omega I hate the community, you win.

Dude I'm telling you. Pathfinders are the worst. They zip around with their bolt launchers telling themselves that they're better than sliced bread. I know they are. I can smell the stench of their self-flattery.

I'm considering switching over from the fractal to the light sticky grenade for my Brute. I find myself spending more time Rambo'ing it out on open terrain in the middle of the map or on the outskirts of bases, picking fights with people. Stickies would be nice to have handy on tanks or outer turrets, although sometimes fractals can be nice on open terrain because if I end up attracting a crowd and I have no back-up I can be like "FREEEEEEEEEDOOOM!" and drop my fractals in hopes of some juicy Aftermath.
Fractals have a disadvantage: they're bright neon green. It's best to drop them subtlety as your opponent is making a pass, when his view might not be centered on you. If they find themselves next to a floating neon orb, it's probably too late by that point. They're taking a hit.
