The questions are interesting but it sucks that our opinion doesn't count. I think Ubisoft intentionally tries to piss the fans off. With me, it's working.

I still have trouble believing they can be so oblivious to what they are doing. One of the downsides of multinationals I guess, the bigger, the stupider they become. I retain my belief that some people should have been fired for the damage they are causing.

"Mais monsieur directeur..."
"Shut up! Give me zat pen. How shall we put it... "To what extent are you not opposed to disagreeing that ze different factions are currently not imbalanced?" There. Zat should cause unnecessary confusion. Did you ask zem how much money zey would be willing to pay for new crap? Bon. Now upload zis new version and leave! You are fired!"

....A "Might & Magic" Online Trading Card game, A "Might & Magic" DotA-like game.....
Im not gonna comment on that. Hope you have an idea how badly it will end if you try to mess with Yu-gi-oh or Dota .
Imo Homm should remain as it is, just decide if you are going to sell it to 10-15 years old, 15-20, or 20+. Homm 3 rules mainly becouse its aimed at a specific group of people and the mature grafics really help about that.
Apart of that - i would really love to see Homm 2,3,5 or 6 for PSP.

They put rabbids in the recent TMNT fighting title, utter bs if you ask me... so I suppose we should just be thankful Ubi didn't include a rabbid hero

Wouldn't the PSP's controls be a little... limited for a game like Heroes of Might and Magic? I mean, you could technically perhaps hook up a PSP-special mouse and/or keyboard, but if one reaches that point, one might as well go for the PC versions.
(Note: No, I'm not going to call it Might & Magic: Heroes. The name inversion is silly. )
Edited to add in the quote I'm referencing.

No, no need for keyboard or mouse, ive played similar games both on my Phone and PSP, works fantastic.

I wouldn't mind seeing a re-release of the earlier titles with updated resolution and graphics engines.
Sell them as one big combo pack; I'd pay fifty dollars to have a new version of HoMM 1-3.

I agree completely, great idea. I'd pay 60 euros for a remake bundle like that, provided the graphics was done by 3mages and animation by Puppetworks, or studios providing similar quality. They wouldn't have to do anything with the sound and music, except remixing it in digital 5.1 surround.

Excellant idea. But I would also add 4 & 5. Ubi would bring on "Q"'s new A.I. (in his desired state) for H5 and then do the same with H4. Then UBI/? attacks the still existing bug-threads for 4 & 5 and viola!;...something for all HoMM fans.

Well, to make it marketable, they would have to release it in two installments. Think of it as a Heroes Anthology, Volumes 1&2; the first volume contains Heroes 1-3, including content from all the expansions for each, with graphic engines to make them at least comparable to what gamers are expecting today.
Volume 2 would contain Heroes 4 and 5, again including all the expansions for each, and graphical enhancements to improve the look of the game.
I think they would sell extremely well; the die-hard fans would buy them just because they're Heroes games, and the new players would buy them because it's a chance to get in touch with the roots of the series.
