Actually I don't mind you going berserk, as I prefer from far discussing with people talking simple, not taking control over each word they write. Therefore I stopped posting in the moment I saw you were really hurt emotionally. With all the posts fuzzing around, it took some time to realize that my logic was hurting your feelings, I apologize. Also when I saw that "mental disorder" was leaked, I knew the thread will get closed soon, or even deleted under a pretext or another.

I think the term "disorder" has to be looked at objectively. Then you will see there's nothing to get angry about.
And in any case, whether or not homosexuality is some kind of "disorder" is a completely separate issue from whether homosexuals should be afforded the same legal protections as heterosexuals. They are two very different questions with very different answers.

Quote: In the end of this year something came to the minds of my parents. They said "you've never tasted it with a girl, that's why you don't know it and don't like it" and I said "OK, but how can I try?" and my father took me to a bordello with my mother's blessing on my way to there. I've chosen a woman and we went upstairs. For 2 hours she has sweated and I swallowed my vomits and could only look at her organ once. At the end she gave up, as I didn't have an erection. I told my father waiting in the car this. And when I went home, taken the longest bath in my life that my skin bleeded because of the sponge. I felt raped.
maybe because it was a prostitute? there was no love, moreover they are usually considered filthy.

well, some like both sex. ok, here I see no reason to think he might be attracted by girls. though, being disgusted by them seems pretty extreme as well.

Yeah, I figured your background with your sexuality wasn't at all a pleasant story. The story with the prostitute was interesting. Two different homosexual men that I've talked with have said that they don't find the idea of sex with women to be overtly repulsive, it's just that the lustful attraction simply isn't present. It's like a woman is just a person with boobs.
Of course, "homosexual" and "heterosexual" is just a gross simplification, as each person varies greatly with the nature of their appetites, with sex being no exception. When I was 5-years-old I had fantasies of oral sex. Other people can be 16 and still be a bit leery over their attractions, even if it's perfectly clear who and what they find attractive. I imagine the fact that you were still pretty young when this happened greatly contributed to the trauma of the entire event.

The thread wasn't even intentionally deleted.
I was sorry to see emotions ran so high in an otherwise fairly good discussion.
Also I personally wouldn't take offense to being told I have a disorder. A mental disorder just means you don't think the same way as everybody else. If anybody says you have a disorder, you simply have so shrug and say "So what? So do you and so does everybody else." If we all didn't think so differently we'd be robots, disorders are how our creators impose free will upon us right?
Guess what? That means everybody has one and the ones who deny it tend to have it worst. (Who is the least likely to admit they are a little crazy? Probably the guy who thinks he's Napoleon.)
I may be missing the point here.
Anyway, always feel free to share your thoughts. That thread was overall a great topic for discussion and don't feel discouraged. Especially since many times if you see something that looks insulting, it's usually being read in the wrong context/tone.
P.S.
I lucked out with my man, but I don't mind the female form. It's kind of sexy. So if he ever were to pass on I don't think I'd ever get another man. Sorry guys =p (Not sure if that means I'd just go it alone or otherwise.)
I didn't choose to be curious, it's just how I am. I just don't think I could ever love another man than the one I have.
edit: You certainly explained things well, I'd nominate your post for a QP.

I'm sorry shyte turned out like that, man. In your life, between us here, everything. Not that it probably matters to you, but I am really and honestly sorry.
Homosexuality is nothing to cure, that's for sure. It's nothing to blame someone of, it's nothing immoral or shameful, and I, as a Christian, don't think it's a sin, and am pretty sure Jesus'd be with me on that one. I'd take a beating for a gay guy or chick being messed with on the street because of what they are anytime. If my kid turns out gay, God knows how well I'll react to it. It's just the way someone is, and it's, beside the obvious problematic bit about reproduction, not in any way a bad thing to be. Except that anal sex isn't too healthy but I don't really feel like delving too deep into that.
Delving too deep. Heh.
Shut up, Bak. Just... shut up, for chrissakes.
Anyway, I ought to look harder to find a word that has no negative connotation and better describes my actual feelings about homosexuality - I have to admit, the word "disorder" wasn't the one I was looking for in the first place, especially in the context of today's world where those reproductive problems can be overcome with adoption, artificial insemination etc. There are a lot of things about the issue of homosexuals whose solutions are black and white - it's really not hard to pick the right side, and I always tried to go the right way. The Western culture did a pretty solid job there. Unfortunately, the more people discuss a few specific issues, the more grayish and complicated things sometimes can get. Which causes misunderstandings, troubles and people to get hurt, if we don't know when to stop (Sal, for example, did it like a boss, while I failed).
I'm not saying any of this to make myself feel better or as an excuse or anything. I just had a need to say it.
By the way, if my old man took me to a bordello, for heaven's sakes, I probably wouldn't be able to do anything either. "Can you make it quick please, dad's waiting outside in the car." What was he thinking.
It's often hard for people to differentiate between the dark side of tradition and upbringing and the bright one. I can only hope things got a bit better in the meantime.
Well, anyhow, see you around, man. I knew you didn't really hate my guts. My pancreas is a great guy. And I'm sure, in time, you'll again start seeing me as the cool, witty, dashing swashbuckler that I am. If not, it's alright.
...But you will.

You're alright in my book. I'm glad differences have been settled and I hope that maybe next time we discuss this matter that it won't get personal or emotional.
Too bad you've had your upbringing in Turkey. I'm quite confident you'd have found a lot more support in Canada, western/northern Europe or in USA, though that'd probably depend a lot on the specific state.

A great post Noc. I personally enjoy the body of females more, and their personalities, generally, but that doesn't mean that because you are different from me that you should be discriminated against or hurt. As you said, you did not choose this life for yourself, you are this way. I don't think that this should be changed... if I did then I might be one of the biggest backstabbers and hypocrites I know. Many of my friends I know to be openly gay... and I've defended their right to be so and to practice as they wish on more occasions than I can recall. Hell, I've yelled down a teacher once... but that's entirely beside the point.
No one should be hated for what they like. I really do hope that things can change for you, for the better. Feel free to contact me any time via HCM or e-mail if you want to talk.
