here's an idea for a H3 Fortress + Sanctuary faction
Pyramid
Core
Kappa.
Witch Doctor.
Think of a lizardman + H5 Goblin Witch Doctor.
Kenshi
Random name. A female mesoamerican Naga amazon warrior.
Elite
Hydra.
Naga Hunter.
Actually two 1x1 creatures, a male Naga and his Basilisk pet! Could be a really fun and cool creature!
Gorgon.
I know they are like really powerful naga in Ashan but the h3 ones were pretty cool... so let's use a retcon here. >.>

One thing I don't want to see in a Fortress faction is humans, they already make up a faction on their own, plus most of the heroes in that and two other factions (and a good few in the remaining two), there'll be a second faction at least partially based around them.

I hate that there are humans in every single faction in H3 and H6.
What was wrong with the H5 racial heroes such as the Demon Lord, Barbarian riding his bull and Warlock with his dinosaur?

I didn't find it so bad with H3, maybe because (apart from tower and Castle) every town had at least two species of 'local' heroes as well as the humans.

Racial unity sucks
Humans are a pretty diverse species, so I see no problem with them being present in most of the towns,
as long as they are heroes only and not units.
However, I don't want them to be like in H6, where over 95% of the heroes are human.
I really miss the ogres...

Just a pity most of them are pretty crap at writing any other race as similarly diverse. I mean come on, where's the Djinn Knights, the Elven Wizards, the Dark Elven Necromancers or the Vampiric Demon Lords?

Even though I don't really like the idea of naga in the fortress(as naga are water creatures, while the fortress is a swamp faction)I really love the idea of the Coatl as champion,it is like a badass-version of the dragon fly that has an actual mythological background.^^

i'm sure a group of Naga could live in a swamp area of Ashan
there is no doubt that the Eternal Empress rules over a number of colonies

The Nagas are serpents from Hindu and Buddhist mythology. They may or may not have some degree of human parts. They range from a full snake, to a snake with a human head (the D&D Naga), to a human with a snake torso with or without extra arms (the Heroes 3-4 Naga), to a straight up human with like a snake tongue or fangs or something (like the chick in Lair of the White Worm). The common element is that they come from Patala, which is a magical land of darkness that is found under the ground or under the ocean.
This is a Naga:
And so is this:
