Creating a video series on Youtube about Homm3 (requesting help)
Hi guys, as you may feel, I feel Homm3 close to heart, the endless memories of multiplayer battles with friends. Ahh the good times.
and I still believe there is something to come for in this game.
and from what I can see on these forums, It still alive in some sense.
So I am student in Communication and Technology as Danish college,
so I think this could be an interesting topic to work on, quickly I have discover how large a subject this is if I am to instruct players from these days, my books on the subject requires me to go very deep.
However the reason, I am asking around here is that I want to ask some players of Homm3 who have skill, knowledge and power beyond that of a small player like me, to help me write scripts for the videos.
If some want to help, ill write a script as I would do it, ill then post it here then experts can come along and help with rephrasing, rewriting and come with illustrative examples that will increase the viewers understanding.
Ofc. this video series is also for the people who do understand already, we will be making a few Homm3 related jokes too along the way and knowledge challenges etc
There is a lot of things I plan on doing, and if it turn out good, i could take it to some of the newer games. I plan on starting at the Homm3 and then newer games.
In summary:
Looking for someone here who Would like to take a little time out of thier weeks to look over a script about some understanding about Homm3, and then look over it and see if it explains enough.

It should be noted that I plan on mining these forums for knowledge myself, but as a security measure I feel that I need an expert opinion to make it better.
The videos will have 3 catagorys
Basic: Basics of the game
Advanced: Advanced knowledge and tactical thinking, takin advantage of hero speicalitys etc
(this is how high in knowledge i consider myself atm)
Expert: Where we talk about tactics from some of the best players

Yes, I'd imagine for your current task the Library is an adequate place to post, but I suspect people here are mainly interested in lore which would explain the lack of volunteers. (referring to the board you've decided to post in not the entire Forum, lest you didn't know that)
My advice would be to not give up and 'test the waters' before you commit to a project based on the advice of strangers. (irony I know  )
I have little idea what Wake of Gods is (except that it's a major mod of somekind) but I suspect anyone still playing Heroes 3 seriously has that, so my advice is to post this there (or ask the respective mod to move this thread there)
As for myself, I am but a casual player, but any help you need, with the project or the forum, I'll gladly do my best to provide.

Yes, understand this.
However I have now worked on this for little over 2 weeks
and I have been cross examining explanations to make sure they hold true
That is mainly what I intend to do, this will end out in a infomercial series, by me.

I think people will be much more eager to help if you show us the goods. Can't expect anyone to do anything based solely on text in internet forum.

Ive have made alot of videos, 64 in all. So maybe you can get some inspiration from some of them. Here is the latest.

Sure Sure, ill start on the visual part of the project soon
The first few guides are so simple, I dont need to ask anyone 
and so I will make a script and then post it here and have a talk about it, in due time 
I didnt ask you to do anything, I my post was merely to see if I could be allowed, mostly by the Admins
and maretti, its nice videos, if not a little silent and abit non explanatory.
However the project I intent on has to be entertaining and educational (EE Quality)
But I do like your Naga Bank tactic, f'cukin sneaky idd say
Idd categorize that as a "Expert" tactics

I made 3 types of videos. 1st type is main battles, these videos work mainly as game reports with a link to youtube to show other online players how a certain game went. They are sometimes supplemented with some text on the site I played on.
2nd are full games. It takes a pretty big effort to record a full game, so I didnt have the energy to add alot of explanations aswell.
3rd are some special battles vs neutrals that are educational but pretty much explain themselves.
About sound: Play some of your own music while watching them. Problem solved.

Actually i was watching few of them an thought "so what?", but then i saw the ancients killing the full hive with an no arts scout and guess what: I was inspired.
