Poll Question: The shiniest Haven unit?
Since they obviously all have nice, fancy plates. (OMG, so much shiny!)
Once again, vote for thine favorite creature of the seven options. For those of you just joining this poll spree, the creatures listed are the basics, but represent both upgrades as well.

archangels. as deadly as paladins, and they come with the resurrection spell. well ok, paladins do heal as well, so let's say they can fly while paladins can't.

Haven is such a boring faction. I mean, they are strong as heck and all (perhaps the strongest) but I just find them uninteresting. I can't vote in good conscience because I only play them during the campaigns and only then to get to the good factions.
Zzzzzz. That said, all the units are pretty decent except tier 1. Paladins are scary.

I almost voted for Priest because of the Inquisitors amazing bucket-helmet <3
I ended up voting for the Pallies though. Bu far the best unit Haven has to offer.

I actually just LOVE the Inquisitor's bucket helmet!
Their attack animation is also really cool.

Personally, I love how the Seraph has both the highest and the lowest damage for a 7th tier creature upgrade. Then I bless the sucker and kill everything with death attacks and it's divine vengeance (usually why I get refined mana as well). Plus, red wing look awesome, and that blade is burning with a near-demonic fire...

Paladins win, best creatures in the game.
Btw Seraphs are great too, but hard to use, with bless spell they deal 180% of the Archangel dmg ( 75dmg + 4 attack ) and deal to 1 target more dmg than the magma dragon deals to 2 . The best part is that they have another spell ( Dv + righeous might ) and not too much mana, so when they cast rm 1st turn, then they cant cast dv on your units when puppeted.

Which is why I use the skill refined mana, so that I can cast RM and divine, since the cost of all my creature spells is cut down by 1/2. Or I could just cast DV twice!
And the puppeting is taken care of by cleansing. Have I mentioned that I like light magic?

Peasants.
The jingling of their hard-earned copper coins going into the royal coffers is as a symphony to my ears. And for those of you who think I'm being too financially harsh on them, please observe their waistlines. Yeah, they apparently have money to spare.

It seems I have written this. Haven is boring as hell. Boring in H3. Boring in H5. SOOO boring in H6.
Paladin is the most overpowered creature in the game. Just plain broken.

no vote for priests? although their damage is low, no melee penalty and high HP ensure they survive a long time and stay a threat even after they ran out of ammo.
in particular, buffed zealot can be horrible with his purging attack.

I agree with Fauch, Priests are pretty damn hot. Zealots with vampirisim makes me hard happy.
Though Paladins are damn nice as well...

They're a good caster. You get an tiny stack of both inquisitors and zealots in your army for double buffing and they can turn your crossbowman into great killing machines, and they can take a lot of punishment. They do poor damage by themselves though so I think they'll only attract so much attention.
Even though I put peasants down I think that's just me being a peasantphile. Crossbowman are the overall most effective in the line-up IMO. Paladins, well, they often get buffed by the monks and plus your hero spends money to train more of them. They have a lot of outside support to make them so great.

I think we can safely conclude that Haven as some really interesting line-up. All their units are worth collecting.
(However Haven has the most ugly line-up in the game, and yes, I'm mainly talking about you peasants!)

well, as I said, paladins could be better than archangels, if they could fly. they become very vulnerable if you can trap them in a corner.
