When I "toss it away" has something to do with me being proud of it, but the casuality is reversed.
If we're not talking on an emotional level (which is what I try to avoid, since my emotions, in my opinion, have little to do with me, except for those I try to create through practice), then I am proud of achieving what I want to achieve. What I want to achieve is what I decide. If I later on decide it's not something I want anymore, then I might "toss it away" and sure I'd maybe not be proud of it anymore as well, but the pride is only missing due to the applied definition of proudness.
As such, the heroes 3 map I mentioned, I'd have no problem deleting it. It's not something which is in my priorities anymore. The programs I have created, I'd want to keep those, they're still within my priority. In the future things will probably change.
So all in all, it's not a "got to finish stuff" complex, which I think is what you asked me.

Hmm... It's like you are talking about productivity of things you have created, as in "I no longer need it hence it's irrelevant to me"... I guess it makes sense on some level, I however think many people operate on a more emotional approach with creations, for example - I drew a comics, I did it because I wanted to, I showed it to a few people, never attempted to publish it or anything, it's creating something, and I am attached to it emotionally, people feel that way towards the things they create hence the phrase "that's my baby" regarding projects or whatever... That's why I don't fully understand your side, but it's cool, I don't understand many things

Well I suppose. I'm just not talking about productivity, not in the usual sense at least. But yeah, I try to avoid those emotional attachness to objects in specific. Though to be honest, I think it's actually a pretty strong way to live the life you want to.
