-What's the difference between a Giaint Cyclops who is big and strong and full of strenght and muscular (and so on...) and a small bug?
-The Cyclops has only one eye!
-What does the Gog order in a restaurant?
-Hot chili.
( Now that's lame )

You're a surgeon, not a psychiatrist. DD? DD is dead, my friend. You can call me...Joker!
How's it going, by the way?

What's going on with HC lately? And by the way I'm back to III and IV, didn't like VI so much.
I'll give my sweetheart the Ring of Infinite Gems

Well I don't think HC got married either to be honest. Though maybe. I mean I had never thought of it like that.
Good to hear you're back at the only heroes games I've ever played intensively. I even have a joke on that one!
Why did he choose solmyr? Because he was a noob!
Honestly I do like solmyr in the very early parts of the game. He's not the best in any way, but like many other heroes, he's fine enough.

Oh so marriage is the only important event for you?
BTW I'm currently doing a Game of thrones/ song of ice and fire map for Heroes IV, I got some of the characters but problem is I suck at drawing the map properly...

I told you before. I am not getting married! I think.

Sounds cool! Well I only ever got some experience at map making with heroes 3, I liked the idea that you could create hills by dragging the landscape in Heroes 4 though
When I wanted to make the map look good in heroes 3, there are two angles it could be viewed from. The big map and the area where you're exactly looking.
To make it look good on the big map, I'd always add a lot of different terrains, make sure there were very little spots with no blockades such as trees and mountains, i.e. non-interacting objects. Further more, I'd make sure there were no obvious squares, trying to make the land look more randomly like in real world.
To make it look good from the point of view of the Hero there are again two things to consider
1) The map before it gets cleaned out
2) The map after it gets cleaned out
Before it gets cleaned out it's easy to make it look good by adding ressources and monster in among the different blockades, not that I'd build a map on in that order (I worked through priorities, such as after determing amount of factions then distance between factions, placing factions, placing important stuff like certain mines around the starting area, etc. and build my way outwards from that). But after it gets cleaned out, you better make sure that
1) There are still lots of objects that stays, like mines and stuff.
2) There are still objects which requires attention, like recruitment buildings.
Also, I'd generally make sure that the landscape had proper blockades objects, so you wouldn't find subterrain items in a swamp, however I'd still mix them in, if I found it naturally and I did also some small things, like add extra blockade items on the same square to make it look more beautiful. A lake turns out to be a lake with some flowers in the center. Combining a lot of different ash mountains to make it look like a unique and very active volcano. Adding unnecessary stuff like mud lakes that comes from a natural place and goes to another body of water, because it adds atmosphere.
However these are things you can always add later, because it's a simple process where you make the map a bit more beautiful. Like adding sand in the areas before there is water to simulate a beach, etc.

That's fine, I'm not getting married either, although I turn 18 in four days (yikes!)
Maybe we can cut a deal..you draw the landscape and I'll do the towns and heroes, how's that?

You're turning 18? Weren't you like, 14-15 when you me and Nebdar had our holy threesome? Has it really been that long?
Quote: Maybe we can cut a deal..you draw the landscape and I'll do the towns and heroes, how's that?
I could, but I have deleted my computer games very recently and my heroes games, except from heroes 2, were all torrents, so it's not a simple reinstall and I'm not inclined to torrent files again.

Wow, guys! You're going going off the topic.
Let's see if you can get this right.
Who will win:
1. An Ogre
2. A Peasant
3. An Azure Dragon
Post your answers.

You are aware you're having a conversation with none other than yourself right?
Still I can't believe the amount of time I've wasted sometimes. Looking back, always wanting that time back, but not using future time for doing what I want, I find myself having had the equivalent time of being younger and younger. When I'd 30 it'd be all complains for naught.
Not that I understand anyone to understand that, I'd just like to point out that you may think you've matured, but
1) you're still playing video games.
2) you're still fan of a sport.
3) you still find interest in movie characters.
Not that I don't, I just don't think there's a lot of room for maturity in the same "immature" cause of action, no matter if you're 6 inch or 6 foot.

Err, I don't think I'm more mature, just my perception has changed a bit.
Also, the best part is seeing the world through child eyes. Adulthood is overrated.

If it has to be one and only one of those 3, then the peasant.

Indeed! That's why we all love this user on HC who goes by the username Meroe, she's inda the child of this place, so she's like always awesome!
But yeah, adulthood is overated. I'd much rather want to live forever than grow old!
