Eralog
I changed debug=1 in the ini file.
Should I find eralog.txt somewhere in specific folder?
When I search for eralog it gives me results eralog.pas 2 files, but doesnt seem to find eralog.txt.
Or maybe for my computer it doesnt create it?

master_learn, could you download Era installer from the first post (direct link) and reinstall everything? I will ask Valery to check TDS, but it seems that it's something wrong at your PC, not in the mod.

Text
I installed it again and the same result.
Just to write down what gives me as message:
Assert violation in file "D:\Soft\Programming\Delphi\Source\\SRC\Units\_OLDER_\GameExt.pas" on line 227.
Error at address:$445E5CD
If its only my problem(until now seems only alisapa to have similar),so I will try to manually install TDS over my WOG mod in the Era 2.0 folder and wont bother you with my problem.

When you are installing TDS, you specify your hmm folder, not Mods\WoG.

For me
In my case when I installed today earlier manualy TDS over my WOG folder in Era,I got some errors in the begining of the game, but was able to begin it.
When later I tried to instal TDS as mod,I was unable to start the application. As you point out,it maybe ONLY my problem,so maybe its better to see if anyone else got problem.
Thanks for your suggestions!
Long live Era!

A little bit
Bersy,I want to ask you for a little bit of advice.
Now as I continue to try installing I remember something weird for me-
when I ran the fix editor bat at the time you wrote me to ran it,I got a message about WOG wont be UNINSTALLED completely and if I want to continue (y/n)in DOS.
I didnt understand it and wrote y in DOS.
Then it merged the 2 files.
After that I seem to receive every time the same message when trying to run h3era.exe,no matter how many times I put Heroes complete in the program files and install Era over it.
I suspect my problem is that I havent uninstalled completely something.

I got same error when using TEW for ERA 2 but old btn syntax. Can you check in mods/secondary skills/data/buttons and open the secskills.btn with notepad and paste here content?

Before TEW and TDS-just Era over Complete.

Hero;SecSkills.ScrollUp;ScrollUp.def;300;303;12;44;Scroll skills up;Scroll skills up;
Hero;SecSkills.ScrollDown;ScrollDown.def;300;347;12;44;Scroll skills down;Scroll skills down;

Same
The same message again and again.
Before TEW and TDS in mods folder are Secondarry skill scrolling, wog and yona.
I installed TEW and TDS.
For experiment I put all my mods on desktop so the mod folder to be empty and the same message I trigger.
Maybe something is screwed with my DOS or there is something that I cant delete and which is preventing me to start h3era.exe.

It is TEW then, you have the unfortunate version I uploaded for 10 minutes before realizing Bersy changed syntax. Delete it and take it again, link is now correct, sorry.

Hi !
I merged changes from SU with changes between 3.58f and ERA2Final
there is download link http://www.mirrorcreator.com/files/R038O9PF/04_SU_merged.7z_links
I don't have added any my changes
Please Look at it Bersy and others from ERA team
It doesn't contain files which do not differ to ones from ERA2Final
I used a notepad++ and a diff tool and descriptions from SU, and those included with ERA2Final. It should contain all changes from ERA2 and SU, but perhaps it ommit some fixes which changed just variables indexes just to be non-negative. I looked calmly through it and I believe i didn't introduce any new errors and bugs. I noticed that a few of many era fixes were included in SU.
EDIT: but it is still something wrong. I believe P904 and P905 options are reset too fast (so there is a message error which should be disabled). perhaps variable collision is also possible. Bersy could you debug it? (I get messages that !!CA and !!UN gets "Not enough Objects")

I have the exactly same problem for ERA 2.I found that there was no resolution because of compatiblity between OS(Win 7) and ERA 2.So finally I build the virtual OS by VMware, and run ERA 2 on virtual OS.At this way,it's no necessary to re-install OS.

Be sure to redownload the file from the first page. Install on SoD/Complete without WoG. Check h3era.exe properties: no compatibility mode should be specified. Check that the game has rights to run.

I tested it on Win 7. It works. master_learn also managed to install. I know only two problems: compatibility mode in file properties and DEP (data execution prevention) in system settings.

Maybe because my Win7 is copyright piracy……I want to turn into Linux, but I can't give up games such as WOG,

Dear majaczek, I'm not handling WoG original scripts and also don't enough time/wish for debugging. So it's up to you to test the changes you introduce, sorry. Wish you luck in this sphere still.
