Is it possible to change the original look of the terrain? I found only object and creature editing tools.

Yes, you must find appropiate def files in .lod files and replace them by for example SND/VID/PAC Editor.

According to what Bersy said in russian forums, he is quite busy IRL, but will at least test bugs with campaigns as soon as he can. However, you better wait for official information.

Hell. Downloaded three friggin clients. And get numerous errors in different places.

Anyone can give a link to an English client that has NO conflicts with ERA? Torrent links appreciated. I've tried a few. I don't want to spend another few days of playing to find out that the client is screwed.

If you mean Heroes III free game, forum prohibits posting pirated versions links. GoG sells a perfect version for less than 10 $.

Is there a way to add more artifacts?

I added def for the artifact in adventure map (named it zart171)
I added it on objects.txt (it appears on map editor)
I added pcx file in artifact def
I added a row of in artraits.txt

However, the new artifact cannot be placed in adventure map. It is placed on map but it shows error and even If I start the map then when hero picks the artifact the game crashes.

Did I do something wrong or are other actions required to add a new artifact?

No I mean more than that. I know there's a pluggin that allows that but I don't seem to be able to find emerald.dll nowhere around.

Does anyone have a link to that?

if it was that easy, just add data in txt + def, there would be 9999 new artifacts by now, but is not that. OxFea did a plugin, however not so easy to script and until now I saw no one having it work. Search threads from OxFea.

I am using GOGs HD version with no HD mod. I think that is called "complete"... Always have two pop up error windows every time I load the game.

I think I used to experience the same thing a few years ago. I remember fixing it without changing the client...

Time of Prophecy Mods

Hi...I just beat TEW3, and it was my first foray into WoG. Certainly a game changer. Really, amazing. I wanted to play Time of Prophecy next, and tried to do so, with the same mods loaded that I used for TEW. None of them seem to be working though. The most noticeable is that the Daily Quick Saves are not working, and when I hit F5, I get the HD options menu instead of a quicksave. This was working without issue on TEW. I also noticed that I'm not getting the text warning when clicking one of the Overflow Fix buttons, so I don't think that is working either. I used the same WOG settings, and exact same mods.

As I said, I'm new to this, so I was just wondering if there was something I was missing. I loaded up TEW4 with the same options and everything goes back to working as usual. I've tried f12 and f13, but while I get the update message,  nothing changes. Thanks for any help.

Also...I was never able to get the secondary skills scrolling mod to work with TEW3...I pretty much had to trust that I had the skills I needed. Any reason that might happen? Thanks for all the work Salamandre, and others. It's pretty amazing that a game this old can feel this fresh. Great work!

of course any interface mods will work with Top, TEW4, just read from HERE then do same modifications in each mod text file.

I didn't add Overflow reference in Time of Propechy because there is no need of it, the hero will never reach 99 stats. But it is in Tew 3 and 4.

And the key to update is F11, not F12.

It is posiible to make HotA port to ERA II and replace Fortress for Cove town? It is too difficult and master knowledge of ERM scripts are needed (besided lots of time and work)? Or is it matter of copyright issues and HotA Team don't allow to do that?

cthulchu, if it is Ice arrow the map I see there, then it may be a local problem, as that map uses other seer huts graphics.

avatar of course is possible, but, as any town, would take a lot of time.

The town to replace is the hardest, good that is done. The rest, creatures abilities, artifacts, this is easy to script, in general. II didn't know the town is already available in wog.
