Hello Community,
after long years of absence, i tried to install HOMMIII and ERA again. Installation worked. Downloaded mods, put them into game folder. While in ERA start menu, i canīt anable the mods and get an error message. who con help?

Hi koelle,
we cannot see the picture/error.
Also in your Mod folder there is a list.txt at the bottom which shows all active mods. Post it here.

I too am getting back into gaming and I'm getting the same problem as you. I have GOG version of H3 complete.

WoG mod should be always at the BOTTOM of the list, not TOP.

Hi, I'm trying to play the last version of Era on Mac with Wine. I downloaded the last available version of Wine engine, installed Heroes GoG into in, then unpack Era 2.7.7 into installed Heroes GoG folder. The error occurs when I'm running h3era.exe
On Windows it works perfectly.
Another versions of WoG works great on the same Mac Wine engine.
So is it possible to run Era version?

I installed it too and it worked fine for me as well. The only thing I added was that I created a folder called: "random_maps" in the main selection window of the heroes file. I've used HD heroes 3 mod before and it always crashed until i made that folder. I don't know if that may help or not with this version because it works well for me.
I don't know if these are bugs or not, but compared to the original HD mod i've noticed a few things:
1) Yes, the battlefield music was different, and I liked the original music as well.
2) There used to be a constant display of the hero's stats during a battle. now it only appears if the cursor was above the hero
3) when you're setting up a random map scenario, if you clicked the town icon, a smaller window opened that showed all the towns to choose from. it was a nice short cut key. also the same thing for the hero selection. sure was easier than ticking the arrow to scroll though the towns and heroes.
4) when i scan for updates nothing happens. not even a notification that there are no updates available.
5) Finally, every time i hit the end turn button, as the music plays while the computer moves, the music becomes choppy and stutters until the computer has finished moving.
otherwise I enjoy this HD version of wog and with the update button, its like an app now that constantly gets better!!

hello I have a problem. I got new Era 2 installed for first time(I used to play just wog all the time), and now whenever I start the game, all of sudden "wheelers" appear and replace my first generation monster in my starting hero. They seem to be strong. I can't turn it off anywhere, any solution?

What are wheelers?
In any case, check carefully your WoG options and see if there is anything active that could change your starting army.

Oh i got it now why. These wheelers are units on wheels, very strong, replacing first grade units. They ONLY appear, when u add mod called "typhon" when u can change units' stats and others. If u disable this mod, they don't appear anymore

After Era is installed, it creates on your desktop an icon, "era start menu". Open it and enable/disable mods by double-clicking on each.
The thing is that when you install some mod, it enables by default. Thats why Typhon is activated.

But I want my typhon mode to be activated cause i want my units' stats changed but I want to turn of those wheelers
