the function ID I randomly assigned was already in use (10900, hence the errors), added a digit, now should work.

I mean, it's better to use named functions in the form of (any unique global name), rather than manual senseless numbers. Converted the whole Phoenix Mod to named functions. Everything is fine.

found this problem when.using the named function in 2.82.

when i define a named functions in a script named with a separate number in front, named functions work fine.

however, named functions cannot be recognized if script name does not start with number.

error message is like wrong function index.1...30000

eg. 99 zulu.erm works
eg. zulu.erm not working
eg. 99zulu.erm not working

I also have the uncertain feeling that something with named functions does not work as it should when reloading scripts with F12

What exactly does not work?
I play with phoenix.erm, converted to named functions, everything is fine.
Please, try 2.8.4 version and upload test mod demonstrating the issue.

Can 2.84 be installed over 2.82?

Edit:
I tried installing 2.84 over 2.82. Now it works.
The named functions can be correctly recognized, regardless of the script name.
So, my problem is gone at this moment.
