Again complaints about HoTa in Era thread, can you guys go in appropriate thread, means HOTA's one? Nothing to discuss here about.
And yes, you need a good anti virus and AD-BLOCK when you surf internet. I have Kaspersky and never had a single pop up, it is taking care about.

That's because you downloaded it from third party site who bundled junkware in HotA. Next time, download software only from their authors site.

I'm sorry for being out of the conversation here. The problem with different versions of maps was already discussed on wforum and will be solved in the next release. This is not an Era bug, bug really WoG's behavior that should be corrected. So both Salamandre and Hobbit are right.
Please, keep patience, guys.

Before starting game go to WoG options and enable the appropriate option allowing such upgrades.
Could anyone upload any Hota map?

Scimitar, I don't think the upgrade script works when right-click on town hall. I recall you must left-click on town hall little icon when in town screen, try to click on all icons and you will see which one is.

The patch should be placed in AnyMod\EraPlugins'AfterWoG folder.
You may probably face problems with RoE maps, but definitely no crash when Hota maps are in. More complex patch requires releasing dll and is skipped until next version.

hi, i am a very big fan of the map editor. now i want to create a new map with the hota map editor and i cannot place any water objects on land - it was possible before in sod map editor. (why did they remove this option?!). is installing era II the only way to solve this?? i dont want wog to be installed or other stuff, just hota. i want to put my map online, so it can be downloaded and it should just be a map that can be played by people who have hota and not other mods....

You can not have the cake and the money for it. HoTA and its editor is NOT user-moddable, live with it.

Place this text file to your HotA\Data directory: EdObjts.txt
You can now place all water objects on ground 
Haven't tested what happens if you enter a battle, on ground, on the new hota favorable winds, afaik shouldn't be a problem, though.
ALSO, if HotA updates with new map objects, this will most probably no longer work, need to make a new one.
@Edit, people without this text file can play your map, no problem.

Maybe somebody here can answer this inquiry. I like to know if the WoG theme music exist, and is available, in a higher quality than the low 128 kbps track that comes with the download of ERA II. I collect heroes music in the best quality I can find.

Hi, Avira and Comodo have bad heuristics. They treat all files compiled by Virtual Pascal compiler as viruses. They also treat most of my tools as viruses. The only way is to select "Ignore and send false alert report" option.
