i really liked wog, but when we played 1vs1 some years ago, we always had synchronization bugs in player vs player (tcp ip) battles, so that after some time different units had their turn to act and then we couldnt continue.
Are those problems fixed now ?
I really liked it but it was frustrating that we couldnt end the game after days of playing.

Synchronization problems occur only when scripts not suitable for multiplayer are on. Anyway, there are some technical issues causing crashes, I'm planning to solve it and test WoG in multiplayer with Salamandre.

quick question:
does era 2.46 fix an error occuring in "object text editor", where if you add objects "after cursor position"(in-between pre-existing lines in zeobjts.txt), the lines near the end become screwed?
or is this problem specifically the error of the "object text editor" program?

Fred, no matter what you do in objects specific editor, when you open the list in notepad, the end must look like this.

i know that, i learned that the hard way, remember? you better ****ing remember, you made fun of me because of it, sal.
what'll happen is, if i try adding something in between pre-existing lines(using objtxteditor), the end lines get messed up. i don't know if it's just one or more, but the end line becomes a blank space(with no name), with all-red passability squares. i was deleting those end flaws, not knowing that they were previously done lines for existing objects in my .lod.
what i want to know is, is it a problem with era, or is it a problem with objtxteditor, and was the problem ever fixed?

fred, I don't remember that issue, you have probably better memory or was affected by more.
I know little on this editor, but I managed to release a bunch of objects using it, did not notice any major problem. Recently I learned that when you add objects to an already existing list, you have to click on "save current list", and not on simple Save, otherwise the new list won't get memorized.
For sure it is not related to Era, obj txt editor being stand alone application.

yeah, i didn't think it was a problem with era, what i meant was, with the fixes/improvements that era has made over the different versions, is if any "objtxteditor" issues were fixed.
i know to hit the "save" button, sal. ffs. if i didn't, i wouldn't have been able to add the thousands of objects that i have thus far to my game...
this is the button i'm talking about, that screws the bottom lines up:
if i'm not mistaken, grayface made this tool? should i be attempting to contact him for the fix, if there isn't one already?

Ok, in new spell mod, the spell window is now displaying with correct text:
However, this screen has simply no function. There are no creature numbers, I can not move them from box to box, all I can actually do is, check the tick and leave window. Anyone else having this problem?

I downloaded the last version from the other thread, says updated march 1, so should be the most recent. When you cast the spell, the first window has russian fonts. The second ok. Numbers of creatures are not displayed but I can move from town garrison to my army. Other actions are not possible but I guess that was the goal.
@Edit: fixed and added download link in era mods thread.

good wog maps
Hello. All Im new here.
Just returned to h3 after long time and Im having fun with this mod wog 3.58f + era2
I would like your recomendation on good maps according to my preferences:
- XXL or XL and tough battles
- Please, and this is important for me most. I dont like playing maps like misfortunate drogba hare, or similar ones, where you are getting stuck all the time. I enjou really tough battles, huge powerfull armies, great artifacts, and alot of bonuses, but dont like to play puzzle game, seeking hidden tents behind the trees etc. Really dont see point of mapmakers adding this into WOG maps so often, I like alot of action instead, and strategy thinking, but not seeking hidden tents in XXL maps seriously. These huge maps are so timely anyway.
- Maps that are well tested and are free of bugs, really even wog campain had me the bugs and after getting hooked up my game started crashing, and i couldnt finish, because of bugs. Thats just pain..

I've noticed with ERA 2.46 that the maximum creature speed is 15, and it appears that the battle grids are reduced a hex row from each side. is there anyway to restore the speeds and map size?

Both speed and battlefield size are the same as in SoD/WoG 3.58f.

phoenixes and all top creatures have a max speed of 15. archangels 13. i used the text editor and changed the features is zcrtrait and it didnt change it. So im guessing something is wrong on my end. i'll keep working on it

also, for flying creatures, the animation and flight path is super fast, then once then the attacking/defending speed is normal. its as if they zip across the air and everything else is normal speed.
