Just found out 'Complete' isn't...
That it is missing campaign videos from SOD and AB... is there any way to add these videos to a heroes three complete installation without buying them separately?
Thanks. (I did look around, but found nothing)

The Armageddon's Blade video is indeed missing from the Complete edition. SoD however, never had the video of its own.

Thanks for the clarification. Is it just one video that's missing then? The descriptions I read have used plural as I recall. How about sticking it into the game? Can it be done?

No they don't have it, because newer expansions just replace such data... same as with icons, you can't have Gelu AB's icon in Complete or SOD , Main Menu Picture and Loading pictures...
For example the following images are only available for each version and they get replaced with new images after your installation of the expansion
RoE Menu
AB Menu
SOD
Complete
So it's the same with videos .. you could however replace the original video with AB's video and every time you start Complete version instead of seeing the usual RoE video you'll see AB's Intro
..same if you want to change from Complete's Main Menu Image back to RoE's image of Angel

So it's just the intro video? I was confused because I read a number of sources that referred to 'campaign videos'. So I can just watch the intro on youtube or somesuch (unless ACTA went through when I wasn't looking) and not miss anything? (I skipped the expansions, and went straight to complete after having not played fer years)
Thanks for the response.

Complete also doesn't have the map "Myth and Legend". It may have other stuff missing too.
If you are that worried about videos/maps, just DL the 3 games separately. You already own them with Complete, so its not illegal.

Legal?
What do you mean it's legal? Is it legal if I download Heroes 1 for DOS since I have Heroes 1 for Windows?

It's more like comparing green tomatoes with red or chocolate and vanilla ice cream, because they are the same thing just different versions and still that wasn't really helpful -_-

Moral > Legal, in an ideal world if it is immoral it would be illegal, and if not, not. Much like philosophy; it isn't about thinking or doing the right thing, but avoiding the fallacies, not doing the wrong ones. That is, a man who gives millions to charity but beats his wife is not moral, whereas the bum who starves because he won't steal is.
Nice and simple; if it infringes on a human right it is immoral, if it does not then it is not. We do NOT have a right to profit, but we do have a right to freedom. So laws that protect profit at the expense of freedom, or deprive us of freedoms that do not infringe on human rights, are immoral. Drug, prostitution, copyright, traffic, about 95% of the laws we have are immoral as the infringe on our freedoms, while failing to protect any rights. And, ironically, such laws should be illegal.
The wonderful thing is that we humans have the unique capability of making our ideals real, so there is no conflict in being a idealistic realist, like myself. Although there is a conflict in being so in this amoral interactive fiction we call modern society. But someday we will make our reality ideal; this I believe.
PS - I bought heroes of might and magic three twice, I would feel completely justified in 'pirating' it even it I wasn't morally opposed to the idea that someone can claim ownership over an idea, or any other intangible 'thing'.

There is no way to legally add high quality bink videos from Restoration of Erathia to Heroes of Might and Magic III Complete.
Because high quality RoE campaign videos was intentionally deleted from Heroes III Complete edition by the publisher.
The same goes for H3: AB intro which only included in Armageddon's Blade expansion itself.
Why 'Myth and Legend' original RoE map was removed from Heroes III Complete? Who knows...

More likely cheaper, or most likely, laziest. Didn't want to bother putting it in as it had one already. Sad when game companies give less of a product when their consumers pay for it, simply because it is older, or has more other stuff, or whatnot. Selling a game with fewer things than it had in the past is just shoddy production, and it really irks the gaming community, and takes advantage of those who didn't know/couldn't afford/etc the individual versions.
