Obviously, Miru's native tongue is not English.
I have a hard time understanding the sentence I quoted (which was written by him), if what you say is true.
(My native tongue isn't English either.)

In HOMM IV, the neutrals DID walk around .

English ain't my native tongue either. He's just saying that he discovered the bug in the fourth game with the ennemies moving around (however that worked for him...) and that it (the bug) was still there in the fifth game.

If that means the neutral stacks, it is NOT a bug - it works that way in HOMM IV (but not V). You can choose to turn it off (again, in IV), though. It is possible that just 1-2 stacks (for entire campaign - all missions) could move around in V version, if that was scripted - not sure.

If it is for enemy heroes moving during YOUR turn, then I don't know...

You know what, maybe I'm the one not understanding his reply. Doesn't matter much though, if he wants/cares he can clarify himself.

My native tongue is English, and I said what I meant. If you click to attack them your hero spends points all the way up to the battle, and spends more points initiating the battle. If you click on the spot adjacent to them rather than simply clicking them, it also starts the battle, but without as many points spent.

Now that I think about it, I do remember doing that in HoMM 1-3, but I don't remember if doing it actually saved movement points.

1 point of movement here and there is plenty, never noticed that, worth trying.
