Looks absolutely epic.... flying a Reaver looks so fun 
I love the RPG and strategy aspects of it as well... with customizing loadouts and vehicles to your taste and the consistent conquering of different areas.

Yeah PS2 is looking pretty promising.
Just a heads up, if i get this, I'll be joining the Vanu Sovereignty again. So don't run off and join the Terrans or something or I'll HAVE TO ATTEMPT TO KILL YOU.
Also an fyi, remember that Planetside isn't just a series of individual instances like with most FPS. It's an actual FPS MMO with one huge ass battleground. It's not very friendly to people with bad connections depending on how crowded it gets. It can literally turn into a war if it gets busy enough. The first one had large-scale transports to move people around in since getting to a hot area could take awhile.
edit: oh **** I wanna play. Haha.

I was already not very excited by BF... huge maps and you spend more time travelling through them than fighting. and I guess it doesn't even prevent spawnkilling??
