I see. Asocial isn't defined as well so it is bound to have a wider array of meanings throughout cultures and languages. Mayhaps it is a term best left alone in a place like HC, with such a wide variety of people.

someone who I can call a friend and will not be shocked.
it can be hard to make a difference between friends and acquaintances as I have little social interactions. even with a so-called friend it can be a bit hard to feel comfortable at first if I haven't seen him in a long time.

I was wondering, if we actually didn't make any distinction between friends and non-friends (so all other people), maybe by putting aside every memories (I suppose there might be more, because we would probably just end up feeling lost), would we still need to get attached to some specific people?
it is probably even more relevant when talking about love, since the distinction and attachment is even stronger.
