Well if I understand it correctly the descision wasmade a year ago. But Games are not mady in one night. So one year back they decided we won't do any DRM games, and now first of these games are comming out, so it is the est tim to inform that the DRM policy has been scrped.

Well, now it has become official rule - this announcement states that.
While H6 was first to follow that new approach, it was more of an exception to the old rule than a milestone for the new one - at the time.
Now they decided to completely switch to this approach.
Future games will follow the H6 model, which is not to require constant online connection, but make your players want it anyway by providing additional stuff if they are connected.
In essence, little is gained, but it is a step in right direction as it shows the stances can be changed.
