"Excuse me?! Lying? Could I make all of this up in a matter of seconds?"
That man has really messed things up right now...
At this point a few sparks were coming out of Grog's hands. Maybe it were his powers coming back to him ((OoC: he could use Bolt - Lightning spell with his old body and a very rare Eggres spell which would teleport him out of combat)).
He grabbed Keska's hand softly, not trying to hurt her and whispered: "From the moment I saw you, I fell in love with you. You have a special aura circling around you - an aura that I find very attractive and I just can't help it but notice that you feel so alone. Trust me, will you?"

There was a moment of awkward silence, then Fandral burst out laughing.
"Bwhahahahahaha...hahahahaha. aaaaaaaaahahahaha." He then pacified himself by marinating his head in the pond. (shaking his head while doing so ^_^ )

Grog/Bowie and Fandral:
Keska yanks her hand out of Bowie/Grog's grasp, and repeats bitterly, "You are telling songs." She then storms off.
A few of the people who hesitated about crossing the street to avoid him seem to think twice about it as Fandral bursts out laughing, and put some more distance between themselves and the seemingly-crazed man.

Fandral managed to cool himself in-order to give a serious reply to Grog.
"From the moment I saw you, I fell in love with you. You have a special aura circling around you - an aura that I find very attractive and I just can't help it but notice that you feel so alone. Trust me, will you?"
"Greeny, I've already told you once pretty clearly, EVERYBODY loves me, but I don't swing that way" -Returning to his merry mood after the incident with his ghastly reflection.
(not a bad new look, but the body change has still brought Fandral on the brink of suicide ^_^)

Broïndur looked around the room. There was something slightly odd about it, much had to do with the fact that this room lacked the simetry that was apparant in the rest of the temple so far.
"Koto, ye ken see in the dark better than me, go an' take a look in the next room. Me tunnel instinct," or what was left of it anyway, "says there something wrong with this here room. I've a naggin' feelin' that this here wall," Broïndur indicated the blank appearing wall with the lantern, " is more than it appear."
Then he unsheated his axe and started tapping the wall with the end of the handle, listening intently.

Mat and Rincewind:
The two of you manage to pull yourselves up to the grating shortly before the approaching party enters. Rincewind has an obstructed view of the group below where the floorboards over the grate have burned away; Mat is less fortunate (only having one usable eye to begin with) and has to make do with sound alone.
Rincewind can see three figures from his patch of scorched grating; one is in armor, the other two are harder to make out. Both of you can hear the three talking amongst themselves as they enter:
((Assuming you don't call attention to yourselves, the conversation proceeds as follows: ))
"Curse it, the stairs are burned out. Now what do we do?"
"Ancients, I don't know." One of the three looks up, but doesn't seem to take note of you—with the charred, unmoving corpses of the previous party decorating the interior and the smell of smoke still in the air, it isn't hard to figure out why. "Poor sods look like they burned to death. I wonder what happened?"
"Who cares?" says the third, already checking the corpse Rincewind looted earlier for valuables. "How are we going to get up there?"
"Did we bring any rope?" This from the second speaker.
The man in armor responds: "You know we didn't; we bribed that one sailor lass with it, the one with the thing for leather straps and pretend-torture, remember?"
"I forgot." There is a pause broken by sounds of the third individual searching through the remaining belongings of the corpse on the floor. "...do we still have the scaling hook?"
"We do, but what good is that without rope?"
"I saw some vines in the swamp...maybe if we tied a few of those together..."
"...we'll try it. We can always go back to town, I'd wager at least one of those ships would be willing to part with some rope if none of the townsfolk are..."
The three leave.

Tristan:
The blacksmith, pleased, takes your coins and hands you your new shield.
((-300 gold, +1 Bronze shield))
----------------
Broïndur and Koto:
It takes a good deal of tapping, but eventually Broïndur finds that a patch of wall tiles is loose when it falls out of the wall and shatters on the floor, followed by a small rain of gold and a handful of round objects that turn out to be pearls.
((+17 gold, 5 small white pearls))
When this occurs, Koto catches the sound of low voices outside the room from the direction of the doorway.
"...(something) hear that?"
----------------
Fandral and Bowie/Grog:
Keska is quickly lost in the swirl of people in town.

Rincewind lets out a sigh of relief when the trio is out of earshot. Just to be on the safe side he whispers to Mat.
"Right. Let's just get that glass and get out of here already."
As he says that he surveys the upper level they're on to see what he can grab.

Mat nods while also looking around. There had been multiple men in here after all, maybe one of the ones they hadn't seen yet owned a bow? Other than that, Mat's focus was on looking for a way yo get to that glass. And to not think about the odd fetishes of certain people in town.

Rincewind:
You look around. The floor here consists of the metal grate covered in places by charred wooden floorboards. Burned sticks and ash in one section suggest there might have been a desk up here before the fire. There's a gap where the stairs used to be and a hole in another part of the floor was definitely not added by the builders. Beyond that, the charred corpse of the other adventurer who menaced the pair of you originally is sprawled nearby and in the center of the floor is—most importantly of all—the large lighthouse light, made up of enough glass prisms to supply every adventuring party on the island multiple times. There is no sign of the remaining Dragonflies.

"Thank you, sir," Tristan tells the smith as he takes the shield. He leaves the building, and looks around. He is unsure of where it would be best for him to go, since the alchemist doesn't have any of those potions. He notices the shrine he had barely made it to prior to being locked up. He decides he may as well go check it out, even if he is no longer seeking its sanctuary.

Mat:
Not far from you lies the body of your other previous assailant; searching it you find a decent steel axe, a helm that feels oddly slick to the touch, a pair of rings ((one silver, one iron with polished marks cut into the outside)), a wooden buckler that is now badly burned, a breastplate of iron...and 56 gold coins. The man was wearing boots, but they are charred black, and don't look like they were in extremely good shape to begin with.
The lens is shaped roughly like a beehive, with dozens and dozens of little pieces arranged in a bronze framework and caulked in place with...something that looks like lead.
----------------
Tristan:
You head to the shrine and go in. There isn't much to see here; there are a few cots inside (one has someone sleeping on it), an offering box near the entrance, an alter in the back and a woman in robes tending the person on the cot. She casts a spell that causes the man's flesh to knit together before noticing you.
"Can I help you?"

While Mat is busy looting the corpse, Rincewind heads straight to the light anxious to get this whole thing over with. He reached out gingerly and removed a small hand-sized prism from the construction. He put it in his pocket than just to be on the safe side took out another piece of roughly the same size.
"See if he's got something to wrap around this glass. Like a piece of cloth maybe." He said to Mat who was inspecting the body. Then he added quietly, but with great determination in his voice, "And let's get out of here already. I want to get back to town before it gets too dark."

Mat takes the money, wondering why everyone only seems to have gold pieces, the axe and the armor from the read man, Putting the axe in a belt loop and the armor on his back.
"See if he's got something to wrap around this glass. Like a piece of cloth maybe."
"Sure, but I don't think we'll find anything very un-burnt about him. You know what?" Mat reached up and pulled off his eye patch, "use this until we can get something better."
"And let's get out of here already. I want to get back to town before it gets too dark."
"Sounds like a good plan to me. Let's hope that everyone else was as successful as we were."

"Koto, ye ken see in the dark better than me, go an' take a look in the next room."
Koto nodded and crouched down, moving quietly towards the door on the right. With his back towards the wall, Koto slowly peeked his head into the door opening and stared inside.
"...(something) hear that?"
Koto retracted his head and crouched down even more. Moving as fast as he could without making any sounds on the stone floor he made his way back to Broïndur. "Someone else is here." Koto whispered "One of them heard the coins."

Someone else is here. One of them heard the coins." Koto whispered to Broïndur.
Broïndur by now had scooped up the spoils and slipped his little friend 10 coins and a pearl. He pocketed the remainder, grinning smugly. He instincts weren't that off, though he expected to find a hidden room.
"Right, those must be the thugs the other looters spoke about." the former dwarf whispered in reply. "We should assume them to be hostile. I'll hook the lantern from me belt and take the brunt of the fight. You make use of the dark and attack from behind. Make yerself ready."
Broïndur then took up the lantern and did as he said. Then he unsheated his axe and slightly scorched shield. He shifted the chest on his back slightly and assumed a fighting posture.
Broïndur looked to see if Koto was ready, but it appeared he had already slipped into the dark. With a grunt he entered the other room. Appearance was half the fight afterall.
