The more the lady from the guild spoke about the Dragonflies, the more Broïndur started to grin. An odd sensation as his lips drew strangely taut over his tusks.
"Aye, they sound a right challenge. Hahaha! But, ye'll fergive me, lady Flametouch,if I ask what coinage is in killing the queen. And if it matters if the heads are a wee bit pulped? Ye'll surely know that fightin' can get right messy at times."

Koto's jaw dropped like an anvil when he saw the water around him. "Great Taytans!" He shouted "Where did all the water come from?! Such amounts, I can't even see the other side!" the young halfling instinctively backed away from the water and onto the shore. Poor Koto had never seen the Ocean before. "Calm down! You got to calm down, Koto! Think!" his mind commanded "Yes! If I think back to the events of yesterday and take for me the last few things that happened before I went to sleep, surely it will all make sense!" Koto turned away from the water, sat down with his eyes closed and covered his ears with his hands, intent on ignoring the big "river" in front of him. "Let's see. We were celebrating the defeat of the Empress of the Light when.. when... When absolutely NOTHING of importance happened!" Koto clasped his head in frustration. He stood up and turned back to the man who had dragged him out of the water. "Old Giant!" Koto said with the humblest tone he could muster "Could you please tell me how a river gets that big anyway?" Koto figured he should just face the most dire question head-on!

"I do believe I have heard the old men tell stories about the big lake of water in the south-east, where the rivers all end." Koto finally said "But I have never seen it myself, nor have I ever been near it! Is that where I am now?" Koto looked puzzle up at the giant "And this here "Emerald Island"," Koto said the words with a distinct unfamiliarity "It's the land on the other side, even further east of this "Sea"?"

Mat hefted his bladed quarter staff on one shoulder and looked out where the man had pointed. "Any idea what kind of numbers we'll be facing? About how large are these 'Dragonflies'?" His ancient memories of battles and wars would hopefully be of some use against them...

Tristan watched the impatient green one leave the building. He wasn't too worried about not being able to catch up. Tristan still wanted to know if there were any mad princes around the area, ready to kill someone for one reason or another.

The old man peers down at you, squinting even harder although he sounds a little surprised. "Eofol, is't? You be a long way from home little h—"
The old man is interrupted as noise from what sounds to be an epic brawl up the hill breaks out into the street.

Fandral and Rincewind:
A bottle of something alcoholic goes flying past Fandral's head; the brawl is really something to see, judging by the number of townspeople stopping to watch. A spindly man in clerical robes has been forced rump-first into one of the rain barrels outside the inn, and is yelling imprecations in an indignant voice. Chairs and/or bar stools can be heard hitting things and smashing to pieces, and the odd adventurer comes flying out the door as if thrown—often as not to get right back up and fly in again. Occasionally you see a lithe blonde weaving through the fray; she'll snatch a hat off someone's head, try it on, then replace it after a moment and repeat. As you watch a group of dwarves with beards in various shades of red (one of whom is wearing an oversized but rather nice—and rather familiar—coat) launch an extremely plastered Orc in iron plate out the door, to land in a clanging heap on the beaten ground outside.

Grog started to regain his senses.
It wasn't wise to drink all that beer at once; matter of fact, it wasn't wise to drink it at all, but that's how the life goes - you do things even though you expect them, or not.
"Really funny, really funny...", Grog repeated with a sarcastic voice as he catches up with Broïndur.
