Question regarding gog.com Heroes3

Wasn't getting any response in the Heroes3 HD thread so I figured I'd just make my own thread to ask this question.

If you run Heroes 3 HD with the gog.com version of the game, do you get the full "cutscenes" between each campaign mission with the text, animated background, music, and voice over?

I own the CD of complete and when I run the HD version the campaign missions only show a black screen with the text scrolling up. There's also an error before it with an "oh oh" noise. I don't think the HD version supports CD (disabling NO CD doesn't work) and I don't think it will ever support CD any time soon judging by the feedback I got from the official thread. I'm seriously debating purchasing the electronic version off gog.com just so I can play the cutscenes in the HD version.

If I remembered this correctly so-called 'Heroes 3 HD' mod replaces the original game executables (protected by Safedisc v1.50.020 if You're using original NWC/3DO Heroes III Complete game released in 2000) with some kind of No-CD crap which automatically prevents all cutscenes from playing (because cutscene's Video and Sound are located in 'data' folder on copy protected Play CD and aren't copied during the installation). GoG version uses No-CD as well (because of DRM-free politics) but I don't know anything about the cutscenes in GoG version.

But if you're going to use 'Heroes 3 HD' with the GoG version then you will likely encounter the same problems as with the original 2CD version.
