As Sophia felt the warmness of Septimus’ cloak she began to appreciate the group who took her in.
“Thank you kind Sir,” she addressed smilingly as she tucked herself into the offered cloak.
The dazzling garment of the kind Altmer caught her eyes. She gazed on it for a while valuing its elegance.

Noxa eyed the mer priest with surprise and a mixture of doubt and wariness. Blind (although he certainly didn't act as though he couldn't see) and traveling alone and dressed like THAT...what was he, really? On the other hand, he'd just given his cloak over to a complete stranger...still, Noxa felt uneasy and returned to her measurements while Drystan and Thorald spoke.

Drystan finished dealing with Thorald and went back to the group. "It's about time that we get some sleep. We don't want to start up late tomorrow."
With that Drystan rolled out his bedroll and got ready to sleep.

Noxa nodded, putting her tools away. "I'll take first watch," she volunteered. She wasn't terribly adventure-savvy, but had been in enough caravans to know of that basic practice. She settled herself with her back to the fire in a place that gave her a good view of the camp's surroundings.

Morn said to her, "That may not be necessary with the Stormcloaks here. They are soldiers and will put up watches themselves for all of us. I'm not saying that you should trust them, but they won't kill us in our sleep. They're too curious in whatever it is Drystan is doing to attack us, particularly Thorald Gray-Mane. It is after we leave Whiterun that we need to be extra cautious."

Yu sat next to the fire, but didn't use his bedroll. Though he did roll it out for some reason. He said to Morn, "So then it's a good idea to get in practice, right? I'll stay up with her." He pointed at Sophis, "Squirrel," He then gestured to his blanket, "use this. It will be warmer than whatever you brought with you." More because the Argonian had an arctic blanket than knowing what she had.

Noxa nodded agreement; maybe Drystan, having talked to them so much during the day, could trust the suspicious Stormcloaks to look out for their welfare. But the Stormcloaks seemed too eager to start a fight for Noxa's piece of mind.
"Who do I wake for second watch?"

Shinning garment, Stormcloaks, Whiterun and beards. There was a number of new-fangled curiosity for the farm girl to ponder upon along with a few nice people she had encountered. For quite a moment she forgot the miserable life she ran away from completely.
Sophia smiled on the Argonian, it was the second time he had offered her kindness and she thought it would be rude to refuse it. She nodded at Yu and took the blanket.
“Thank you again, Yu,” she meekly spoke to him, “This is too much, I hope one day I can repay for your kindness.”
As she sets up Yu’s bedroll by the fire, the Nord girl presumed that her impression with the Argonian might be wrong. Yes, he looked hedious yet his heart seems amiable. Sophia then wrapped herself inside the blanket as she excitedly listen to the groups’ conversation but it seems that she had lost to her weariness and the young lady fell asleep without her consent.

"As long as you generate heat and continue to share my bedroll, consider everything even." He told her, still not realizing that what he was saying could be taken in a more... awkward light. He honestly just wanted the heat generated by these warm-blooded mammals, nothing more. The fire was nice as well...

Morn raised his eyebrows at Yu, then went down to rest on his bedroll. The rest followed suit except for those staying up for watch.
The night passed without incident and Drystan woke to the sound of Morn snoring at his post. Thorald and a couple of Stormcloaks were already awake and were doing some sort of morning exercises.

Yu opened up one lazy eye as the sun began to come up. His bedroll was surprisingly warm this morning... the argonian remembered why when he accidentally breathed some of Sophia's hair, causing him to sneeze and wake up completely. "What... wha? Huh?" Yuan-Ta sat up, pushing the bedroll up with him. "Oh. Hello Soph. Good morning."

The night was very warm for the farm girl. She had the most comfortable sleep for the first time after she had left her village. Sophia was dreaming of an adventurous encounter of her recently joined team happily hunting some weak wolves on the way when suddenly she got into her consciousness knowing that it wasn’t a dream.
Screams were piercing the inside of her ears and rushing movements passed upon her half-opened eyes. She noted Yu’s greeting but without full attention. Her partially woken brain was slowy gaining the scoop.
“Wha…” she softly addressed the Argonian when suddenly she became aware of the attack, “Oh, brother!”
Working at the farm didn’t gave Sophia the fast reflexes for battles and also, keen concentration in such situation. She jumbled standing up to her feet panicking and trembling. It was her first encounter of a commotion. And as her farmer instinct worked on her, the young lady’s first move was to hide behind the closest - her Argonian companion whom she did not even became conscious of that he slept besides her during the night.

Yuan-Ta patted her arm, muttering, "Easy, easy... there isn't actually an attack going on..." He squeezed her arm to reassure her. "Morn was just startled by Noxa, that's all..." Her reaction was as entertaining as it was cute. "You can let go Soph, it's alright..."

The Stormcloaks drew their weapons and moved into a formation automatically when they heard Morn. Drystan came by and said, "Sheath your swords, it was a false alarm. Our watchman just needs some practice, that's all."
"I swear that woman seemed like an angry Orc to me." muttered Morn as he cast his head down in shame.

Sophia almost fell to her feet. What she did was quite embarassing especially to the Argonian fellow. It has showed them how foolish and cowardly she was. She just hoped the leader Drystan, or the other member of the gang won’t vouch to leave her.
“I’m sorry,” the young Nord apologized, “I was just startled.”
She went down and fixed Yuan-Ta’s bedroll and handed it to the snake-like entity, “Here, thank you again.”

Noxa just sighed, and started preparing for the day's travels.
“I’m sorry, I was just startled.”
"Nothing to worry about," Noxa reassured the mage. And then did a double-take as apparently the mage and Yu had actually shared a bed last night. She hadn't realized either Nords or Argonians were so...flexible...in their taste in bedpartners, and Noxa made note to be very careful how she spoke to Yu in the future; she didn't want to give him the wrong idea.
