That's why I do not put demented and tormentors in the side of the battlefield, less mobility options there.

A good point in general. But with this field the large creatures would have been even more blocked than the small ones if they had been placed at the edges. Inferno's big creatures are problematic.
Nikolas, I can start a duel any time before 15.20 gmt+1 (after that we won’t finish before I must leave). I also have to cancel my gaming time tomorrow, Thursday.

Pressed attack is better than rush! imo simply because of the heroes lucky strikes.

I was defeated by Nikolas in our reversed role game where I was a Death Knight and he was a Paladin.
In our first attempt yesterday I had amazing artifacts, I only missed the blizzard to have a very good chance. This time the artifacts were very useless except for a sentinel shield (+10 def) which was ok. Getting blizzard would be pointless with my 9 magic power. Low magic power also meant that my creatures did very low damage and some mass spells that worked fine yesterday were much worse than I could imagine - it was like if their effectiveness was more reduced than my power was (compared to yesterday).
Pressed attack became the main weapon for both of us but since Nikolas had morale while I hadn't he could get more out of it throughout the duel.
I tried to mark and focus on one stack at the time to get massive necromancy points, and Nikolas always had the just right Guardian Angel level to be able protect the stack just before I was about to finish it of. And in the end he managed to protect these weakened stacks behind a creature wall. Cowards! But well played.
But hello what is this???? FORGET everything else you've read in this post. Here's EVIDENCE that LOCKSLEY WINS THE COMBAT, visible for all to read in the event log to the top left! Victory point to me!

LOL. Locksleys hero just too awsome, he routes the entire enemy force when his units are destroyed.

All the more reason to appreciate the recording work of polyglot, gameslayer, simpelicity and pancakes
With locksley losing both games against nikolas and myself and kayna having disappeared, this phase can be considered concluded. I will face nikolas in the finals, first to get two victories is declared the victor

First victory is mine! Nikolas' tears samurai had 30 att and 15 magic def but my reaper deep-fried his nagas with 36 spellpower and amulet of thunder. They charged with mass haste and ripped by lamasu to pieces(that were guarding my spiders) but I was lucky enough to save the stack with necromancy 2(fueled by an insane chain lightning) and the specter wail. This made the stack survive into the next round where my spiders could shoot the kirins with storm arrows and luck. (9 sacred kirins down ) He used reinforcements on the kappa which did a lot of damage in conjunction with honour 3/4. In the end though he could not withstand the lightning for long and mass decay didn't help much either.

Thanks for pointing that out. Though the files in The Polyglot's thread are not there anymore, only the Youtube uploads (which are older, maybe not the recent patch). Any other place to look for some recordings?
Though I guess Youtube is a good place anyway. I just liked the in-game replays of H5 for obvious reasons.

Of course, I miss those days I don't have the links handy but search youtube for gameslayer, simpelicity and panczasu's duels. They have recorded some fun games, commentary and all

Yes, watch them! Lazy busy me don't really have time and motivation to make replays but try to make good summaries with some pictures instead. If there's something more you want to know about the game just ask. I think that what would be most interesting to see is how Nikolas moved his creatures to protect them - good analysises of the initiative bar and creature speed.
He also had some crucial luck, morale and cleave for the angels so that they could bring down the lamassus, cover their corpse and block the weavers - when I was just 1 hit from getting necromancy 4 which would have strenghtened lamassus, weavers and liches.

Yeah just typing Gameslayer brings up a load of stupid video's BECAUSE IM NOOBRAINER, so i guess i'll supply the links:
https://www.youtube.com/user/NooBrainer/videos for me
https://www.youtube.com/user/truePANCZASU/videos for pancakes
https://www.youtube.com/user/Simpelicity/videos for Simpelicity
As a general rule watch panckaes if you want to be entertained whilst watching someone get stomped, watch simplecity if your a wierdo who likes faqce-cam, and watch me if you just want to zone out for a while.
Also, my mission this weekend is to finally get that match vs emperor up. I've been procastinating it far too long...

Well the benefit of recorded games is that you can really see and feel the thought process that goes behind each and every step the players make.
Will keep checking these out as they come along.

Hah and here I thought I was the only one crazy enough to conceive such a scheme
So the losers' cup is still running? Remind me wins-losses please If you guys finish your games the winner can play against the winner finalist but! It will be in the BONKERS VERSION! Where there are no bans, no rules and insane artifact randomness.
Speaking of which, would you rather an H5 tourney or try a BONKERS CUP?

Despite everything red we'd still be level 27, so we'd still have level 4 racials.
Yeah I have no idea who is or is not in the losers cup. All I know is I won against emperor
How is a commentary inferior at explaining thought decisions than a standard replay
I'm personally up for whatever. I AM NEVER USEFUL AT DECISIONS

Err... it's not. Until now I've only been watching H5 in-game replays, which don't do that.
Plus it wasn't that hard finding those replays; adding Heroes 6 does the trick (Elvin disconnecting also helps winning games )
