ICTC VII?
Well, simple thing: Will there be an ICTC this yea? I'd be glad if there was, but this time I'd like not to be judge, but participate. Anyone else who would like to go into THE contest again - or newly?
What is the ICTC?:
Well, here comes a short explanation for those unfamiliar with the ICTC. ICTC stands for International Create (a) Town Contest, which pretty much explains the basic: It is a contest where the participants create a town. It is international because it is held only online (on the HC) and thus is open for people from all around the world.
The ICTC has quite of a history on the HC - this one would be the seventh of these contests. Traditionally, the rules are very free, no special boundaries or tasks. Who wants to participate, just opens a thread with the title "ICTC VII - <Town name>" and writes down their town there. After a (usually quite long) given time, the judges do their job and give points/ranks, and than we have a winner.
Questions from the last years:
-Can I make an entry together with someone else?
Yes, you can, but should note that.
-Can I enter with more than one Town?
Yes.
-Am I restricted to a specific verison of HoMM?
No. You can even use an altered or entirely new system. Yet that may have serious impact on the score, depending on the judge/s

I'm interested in this ICTC thing, but I have no clue on how stuff works here. Care to explain or link me to the trhead with the explaination?
And what does ICTC stand for?

Well, to me that allready seems enough for the contest to take place. Yet we need someone to judge and organze *glances at the mods shyly* as mentioned, I'd rather participate than judge this year.

I'd be a pure judge this year, no time to actually create a faction myself. Is there going to be a mod to help out/ mod things?

You should know there will be Gnomes. I am not on as much due to health, but ever since I've been a Mod the ICTC has been watched over pretty good

But seriously, the first 3 ICTC's had actual prizes. (Other than QP's) But then they stopped doing that and the contest realy went downhill after that.
