Me and Joonas would like to invite you people to a freaking awesome PBEM game! Just some settings so you get the feel of it, geography's secret but nothing too crazy (continents tho): 6 players (all human if possible), large map, underground on, city building off, map sprinkled with some starting cities and dwellings. Necromancers banned, normal paced game, conquest victory only.
If people are interested, make yourselves visible so we can schedule it! GO GO GO!

The other - the full game (with the 2 addons) comes with 9 Races and 7 Classes. Plus 15 or so Specializsations. Starting a game you'll have to pick 1 Class, 1 race and 3 specs which makes for one hell of variation. It's one hell of a difference whether you play Elven Rogue or Elven Arch Druid, but it's one hell of a difference as well, whether you play an Elven Rogue or an Orcish Rogue.
theres even quite a distinction between a water master rogue, a destruction master rogue, or any of the other multitudes of specialization combinations. creating new characters and discovering synergistic combos is one of my favorite parts of the game.
and pbem is where its at!
id love to join you, but i dont want to hold back the party given that im only good for a turn or two a day. keep us updated on the game.
your turn JJ

As soon as we get 6 players I suppose. We've got 4 now: Joonas, JollyJoker, Dagoth_Gares and yours truly. FFA with no alliances, 3 days turn timer. Pre-made custom hero required, no Necromancer. I mean, if we get the players and everyone's invested to play his best, there can't be anything else but awesome times ahead of us.

I won't be available early Friday (today I suppose), but other than that I would love to play. If you don't mind having a person of.....questionable skill that is.

How about going M/U with 5 players?
Has the advantage of seeing a sooner finish ...

Naaah, we stay the course on our current setup. Only one player needed and we're good to go. Meanwhile get started on that custom hero and make sure to bring your A game people.

Yes.
More and more games get Linux support nowadays, I'm still hoping for a Witcher 3 release, as the first two run natively as well.
