There's a ported H2 available for jailbroken iDevices, not present in the official store,(it's called FHeroes2) and a VCMI port for Android phones( OS version 1.6+ IIRC)

There is NO Android port of VCMI. There are ones for OSX (iPad) or various Linux distributions if your device runs it.

For android there is also Free Heroes 2, which lets you run either the demo version (it can do that in the program for you) or place your own full game files to play Heroes 2 on your device.
Here
Apple generally disallows anything to do with emulation or anything that has an open source license as those both disallow Apple to have full control over the device.

It's an old and unupported fork that drives us nuts since it was released. People never stop complaining about it not working.

@thebundling:Without saying anything against the rules, I can assure You that Google is your friend. Pretty easy to figure out once You think about it.
@Warmonger: Thanks! EDIT:Looks like it's not an iOS build after all, oh well. Was too incredible to be true anyway. H3 on iPads would be all kinds of sweet though.

Well, you're right about that. iOS is a system from OSX familiy, but runs on ARM processors instead of PC ones. So there won't be iOS port until we find non-profit iOS developer with such device, who are not common.

I'm currently working on a iOS port of VCMI. Currently i need to figure out the server/client connection if anyone with knowledge of C++ want to help please contact me. Currently the game works very smooth on iPad and the touches are pretty manageable. Here's the vcmi forum thread with screenshot from the iPhone emulator:
