So do you feel that MoS Hell bonus (each CBs accumulate 2 Mithrils for the same Hero, not to mention the base x 2) is much stronger than other factions bonus like MoE or MoD (simply reduce Baron cost by half)? If it is month 5 then he will get 10 at start and after 30 battles (possible if you pick the Austodium river route and then connect to Piquedram river route) he will get 70 Mithrils for the final bank. MoS is actually very strong now with the new growth bonus since it's an indirect way to buff our armies stats.

Barons are so powerful, and making them cost as a simple AD is very huge boost. Well, MoS is very strong, as always. Hard to compete with a race that can move so fast, far and all this so soon. But I kinda miss the grails from mow and my army is tiny, last 5 bonuses I had to choose devils or I don't make it. Already 50 devils in mines, and is not optional, I need treasure hunters, month 4 and bless still at 2% while prayer even worse, 1%.

alisapa could be right about MoS mithril bonus.
I mean mithril accumulation on one side and the half speed price on the other?
Might be more reasonable to allow accumulation for the other factions with very little accumulation in MoS.

I actually also have lots of Gold problems in even later part of them game unless I'm playing MoW, but just can't find any proper ways to produce more gold (other resources are not that big problem once you get 2 to 3 Cornucopias). The only solution I can think of is that Special Level bonuses now offer Gold bonus (something like 200k per level => level 50 = instant 10 mil gold) or Caves of Gods now also rewards Gold along with resources (but none after getting Fire Bonus).
@Sal: Except that twice earlier also means that less stats for AI, kinda balance things out a bit.

Well, seems not. MoS need to achieve same results as other factions, but twice earlier. Some battles require a precise statu-quo, I mean you can't pass Wystan or Zydar if your damage is not around 110-120. MoW will get them, MoE can cast twice and this is deadly for AI. How can MoS make it twice earlier if not more mithril available?
Gold is ok, not enough is part of difficulty. The map was tested with this lack, to make sure you don't get bless 5% too early, it's simple progression. When you will try Hell, you will enjoy treasure hunters*2, it helps a lot.

I found out yesterday that Hell Barons vs Wystan = 1:0 even without damage upgrade.
I forsee the same for Zydar.

Well of course, I never take in consideration MoD, this is faction for fun, not for challenge. I had fun playing it once, but will not redo it.
And btw, the biggest bonus for MoD in hell is the possibility of removing implosion. Not faction related, but MoD will take a very big advantage from.

I actually find Wystan... not that hard, since he has no Teleport his Nagas and Gremlins are non existent if gate is blocked and Forgetfulness, his Titans move first so they have to clear clones by themselves, kill them and it's over.

stop distracting Valery with new ideas I need to know if Hell is doable as it is now.
Is true what alisapa said about Wystan. But that fight is difficult when you take to early because you won't have enough force to finish off the titans before your blocking troops die. YOu can't entirely block him with clones or is unreliable and will fail on 1 morale or AI simply destroys clone with spell.
I have a working strategy. I'd say 7/10 but requires some reloading and a special event occurring. I can share it if curious

It is doable, maybe a bit too easy if MoS than I expected, but I have to keep mind other races as well.

I said from start that Hell is doable only with MoS maybe. The tremendous mithril farming capabilities coupled with fast movement over terrain (not allowing AI to grow until impossible, which will eventually happen on Hell) makes it strongest.
I think that other factions will need additional toys to be competitive on Hell. Larger armies or more ways to produce mithril.

I am not worried about MoE, twice resurrect at *4 power means 8 normal resurrect. But MoW needs some time to become strong, and time is what Hell lacks. Growth goes fast from 4th month.

So I have latest pack installed , the one that has lower dmg increase over time. Do I need another erm to play MoS?
I started a game last night , month1w4. Also about this game I am lvl 20 ish? and I managed to not have Water nor Air/Fire. I think Fire is learn-able @ Witch Hut. What are my chances to get water? and Air through lvl up. You said Schools of magic come as an option every 5 levels?

The latest update (erm file) is on this page, scroll up. It fixes the citadel problem.
Nor water/air, hmm...those two are top priorities. They will be offered but 5 levels from 20 takes lot of time.

Ok, hit a wall: Zydar. I destroy 2 of his stacks on first turn with 20% frenzy, but after that I can kill only 700/hit and the bugger place them wise, never can use attack all around. I need much more devils, fortunately I can take the dark blue tent and go Piquedram without killing Zydar. Will be back a bit later.
120 defense vs 96 attack. Makes sense.

alisapa,what would you say about Master of Demons faction?
For example demons will have +1 speed at begining,half price for damage and abilities on them.

Ok Piquedram is gone. Had 1500 mithril before fight and tested all setups. Gave damage, I die first round. Gave HP until 350, I die second round. Gave defense until 115, got him. Usually I never buy defense until very late, but here no choice. Looks like we have to change habits for Hell.

Nice one, but I wonder what you do at Halon for example Any enemy that gets a chance to hit you may be lethal.
