Quote: Associated legal contracts are just no longer exclusive to marriage
You see, that's what I mean by just renaming it.
Gay couple adopts kid, they divorce, they are in court fighting over custody.
What is not only exclusive to marriage? What changed? Their contract is no longer valid, what do they say to the kid? The contract is no longer valid?

Quote: And if the question is about new social norm vs old tradition, that is not the same as the debate about same-sex marriage.
No, you took it out of context. I meant in my specific answer to your question "why not" directed to my "it is not as easy as that to atomize..."
I don't think a war will start in France based on gay marriage neither! My emphasize was law is not just "ideals put into practice", philosophy may be just that, law is not. And your "why not" was not a question about the world, it may have been a valid question in an ideal world, but in this world I think the reasons are quite obvious.

If you'll excuse me I'll do that tomorrow. I am getting tired and sleepy. It's hard to put the nuances when it is not your mother tongue and sometimes a single word in a key sentence takes minutes, checking out the Thesaurus and so on... I'm out today.

We are all helpless nerds here without your feminine presence Shyranis.
Seriously though, I wonder what it would be like if HC community was 50/50 male-female, or let's not get carried away, 70/30 male-female.

Isn't unemployment quite low in the urban parts of Poland? I was in Kraków recently and unemployment there is at 2-3%.
Anyway, countries which don't have much to offer generally don't have many problems with reproduction.

That's because most of the people don't even care about registering your unemployment as it gives you nothing. And a good part of the rest works for 400 euro per month.

Well, top 2 of the most populated countries are global or local superpowers.

Why go in Poland when France gives you 400 euros each time you get pregnant? All you have to do is f*** your wife. Isn't great as job?

It's been more or less socialist for a long time (hopefully it's peaking with Hollande). France's agricultural protectionism is really what's crippling the EU.

Did you know that in France, no matter your salary, you get social aid 300-500 euros for every kid you raise? They are trying to tweak this now, but it's amazing- it was like that for 50 years, had no idea. People got mad seeing that families with revenues of millions/year still asked and benefited from.

With a 300 euros bonus for each individual (they call it "aid to return" wtf?!). No surprise they come back along with 4 cousins, the price Bucarest-Paris in bus is 60 euros.
