Yeah, like 29 of September  Of the next year of course.
Actually that's pretty fast, let's see if they can keep the deadline. This should hopefully mean that pack prices will do down soon.
But the passionate players only bugs me. If more grinding is included I am gonna be pissed.
On my end I reached my personal record at 1459 with a 30 win streak. It was followed by 2 losses against random inferno/necro 1000+ for -28 and -27 respectively. Dat hurt.

Sorry to hear that Elvin, it's tough high up and then you get these freak low level hero's that are really good!
From DoC moderator:
A brief summary:
-They are working on it right now
-It seems its almost done because "they need to test it"
-it will be implemented in september with the new expansion
-the cards will be hard to obtain, "for passionate players only" whatever this means
Not too sure I like this idea of getting card of your choice, cos it's supposed to be difficult to get good cards.....if they would implement something, should be something like this:
Get "a card of your choice" for every 15 level ups....
That way, it rewards the loyal player....

10 levels are more than enough, getting 15 levels ain't easy at all. especially if you can't play DoC a lot, like me, sometimes I can't even get a level per day...

Elvin, how do you get 30 wins in a row? I win 10-15 consecutive games and then lose to a 1000 ELO player to get back to where I started from...

Too bad I have her twice. It's a funny story - she was the last Inferno card I needed from the set to get the Infernal Visions achievement. I think its reward was an Emilio's pack which had her again...
And as solid as your deck might be, you can always lose and get -30 whole winning +3/4 per game. MTG players say bad draws make you lose 30% of the games.

So... looks like ubi is trying to release a "get the card you need vibe".
My thoughts on their statement...
Perhaps their mention of passionate means something along these lines
1. log in each day and duel 10 times each day for the week, end of 7 days you get to trade/ choose a card you need
2. win 50 duels in 1 week and trade/ choose a card you need
i am hoping this is their inclination.

MY FIRST TROLL!!
so.... i am actually still a bit mad about this but... playing a swiss win first 2 hit 3rd, 20 - 1 up on opponent, my turn comes, with banshee in hand to clear a blocking creature attack win... SWISS BUG - opponent laughs and refuses to quit from his side, makes a joke of it and the i loose time out and place 3rd - FFS!!!

Yup, happens to me too, just not that way, I am about to win the game, and then my game crashes, it happens multiple times.

I'm not talking about you specifically, Elvin, there are always exceptions to the rules. The poll results say it all.
Let's face it: Necropolis has access to the best spells (dark + fire), has the best creatures (incorporeal, spiders, atropos, banshees, trees even) and the best heroes (Adar-Malik, Fleshbane, Seria, Ariana, Nergal till recently).
Balance? WTF is that?
Haven winning? Let's destroy them! Nerf Siegfried and Kieran until they are useless! The developers see no problems with Takana Osore's and Fleshbane's abilities, the even added new creatures with incorporeal/honor, but, hey, let's nerf Siegfried!
Necropolis winning? Good, good. Six months later, well, Nergal might be just a little bit OP, let's make him pay for his ability and... oh yes, let's add some OP spiders as well.
Let's add two great new heroes and two crappy ones too...
