Make backup of 'profiles' folder and put this file into it. You'll be able to move your camera freely The only issue is that it makes big lags even with 3 GB RAM with the maximal out-zoom either too flat screen.

EDIT!

I can see the sky inside a game (and, better, apparently the sky might be different for each map!)

So, this is what I did:

1) Skies.h5u goes to UserMODs
2) Extract CameraSettings.zip and put the files inside Profile folder inside the game folder, NOT the save folder in My Documents.

Start a game, and voila!

Many thanks to Hayven!

(Hayven, I think you need to start a new thread with links to your mod in the first post and the picture of various skies in various maps in the second post...)

morthi, that's very kind of you

Have you been able to mod the sky into the game?

That's true - now everything is working fine

What a pity than on Win 8 it's impossible to make in game screenshots without 3rd party apps.

Not true - running game in Windows XP Compatibility Mode gives good results - now Print screen key works

Other thing - skies doesn't work with loaded games (started before sky mod) - really interesting

Nah, only the second screen from first post comes from this mod The others are skies added with Map Editor, not by modding xD

Morthi, your screen is really nice and you should add it to the first post.

I also want to add that it looks especially well with Graphics Overhaul/PRT

And you can exchange the wrong screens to the followings:

More, you should add that who extracts the camera settings archive to 'profiles', should create backup. And that it also works with H5 basic, HoF and ToE.

Dang, you two must have much better video than I do because as beautiful as it looks I can't run it; the lag is horrendous. When I try to move, everything runs in very slow-motion. There's only one short angle where I can but move normally but then I'm so zoomed-in I can't see anything but bugz on the road.

Maybe some day

I got radeon 4850, c2d q6600, 6 gb ram - so not very powerful machine
With camera laid on road playing is difficult but if its little higher every thing is ok

Yeah, there is a lag in gameplay, but I think this is worth it

Btw, in my game, water looks dark, not blue like in screenshots here. Is it because of my low performance laptop?

I think it depends on type of water

And these graphics are upgraded by Pre-Rendered Textures mod

If your camera angle isn't very sharp, and you don't outzoom, there won't be any problem with lags

Need some help here; I don't have that mod would that make the lag worse?

Seriously, it was like trying to stay in a very narrow crack to play normally. My graphics card is only a cheap on-board, the Ati Radeon HD 4200 but it's been great till now. Everything looks very good but I just can't move.

One other thing I noticed is "Before" If I tilt down as far as possible, the game would lag, until tilting slightly "up", now that seems the spot I'm trying to find in order to move normally. Easy Navigation is reversed in my case.

xuxo mod only changes textures so without it game should run faster

I guess that's impossible to tell how you could use camera one little move and game lags, two little moves backward everything is ok but I cant scroll view horizontally
Easiest way is to use skies for screen shots otherwise you need to find optimal angle for your machine to play with small lags

What a great contribution! The problem with the delay by tilting the camera is not for lack of RAM or CPU or anything, because of the "engine" that uses the game, which is scheduled to render many objects at once. also usually some delay in the inferno areas with lava, which I gather is due to a programming error. Maybe the game engine was programmed for a simpler version (HeroesV started being programmed with "cartoon style"). For this reason, for example, the texture mod as much doubled the size, no more, because the engine does not know if would be prepared to put more quality.

This very well the mod and the images you've chosen are very nice ... but something does not show to be solved, and are the limits of the map that are horrible xD That would not change the sky in the town (this specifically in Academy) I only had to add all the skies in a new folder renamed by example "Skydomes2" and changing routes (material). xDB of Hayven therefore possible to use different maps skies and the towns.

This is really interesting idea to add this dark stuff to make fake horizon.

Yea Hayven - is it possible to make different skies for different hero origin?
