Please Help, Create New Hero Button Greyed Out After Purchasing all Altar Heroes

Hi, I bought all the heroes available in the altar of wishes and now I find the create new hero button is greyed out for me. Would their be anyway to correct this or will I have to repurchase the entire game?
How long has this existed, I googled threads from a year ago on ubisoft forums about the same exact issue.

Any help/response would be greatly appreciated, thanks for your time.
