OK I figured out what it was
igrik uploaded an install of ERA 2.77 to overcome issues people were having with installing ERA for "another instance of HOMM3 running" type errors (see the thread, people have to manually create folders)
igrik's download WORKED except some of the the tools were in Russian ( I changed INI files or otherwise reset preferences)
HOWEVER the menu showed in Russian whenever SAFE SOD was enabled.
Apparently SAFE SOD (to be run when using AB maps or the campaign using ERA, I gather uneeded otherwise ie for random maps), was using files in igrik's install which were RUSSIAN.
Replacing .....GOGHoMM3 ERA 2.77Data with the data folder of
....GOGhomm 3 completeData fixes the problem.
igrik's install of ERA 2.77 has custom files and SAFE SOD uses them which causes RUSSIAN to be displayed in the menu, not English.
FYI Using igrik's install of ERA 2.77 since install of the ERA 2.77 mod ONLY into HOMM3 COMPLETE has no menu and other music missing, while igrik's works fine in that respect (thank you igrik)

Era Scripts Eng ( by Algor) with ReMagic Eng (by Algor) as a script (former mod)
Translated today ( Only lasts scripts and adventure magic in ReMagic).
Put into /mods folder
Give feedback, please. I ll try correct some issues, if you will find.

Cool, finally I don't have to hassle around anymore between English and Russian Version to see which script does what.

I checked the new translation of ReMagic and the wording is certainly much better than before! but the formatting of the text looks a little bit off and the name of the spell is also missing. I don't mind the missing spell name because it is written in the book but better arranging of the text would be great. But I know its a lot of work ^^

i can add spell's name as you said.
I just did translate alike the original format.
btw there is spell name.

Good initiative but google translation, as always, make little sense. It is not "squad", but "troop", and it will not "make a boat" but "create" one. Also vanilla frenzy is "Target allied troop's defense is reduced to 0, but attack is increased considerably" so the correct phrasing would be - I assume:
"Target allied troop's defense is reduced to 0, but attack is increased by 50% of the initial defense."
I suggest, if you have time, to check spells english descriptions then combine the vanilla with the bonuses from this mod. Additionally you could ask support here by posting all translations, there are guys whose mother tongue is english so they could be more helpful than myself.

There is an issue with the display of these scripts in the part 2 section. Even opening the settings with the mod manager leaves out Trained AI. Perhaps to display it properly, there might need to be a 3rd page.
You know, I'm really great with English and I read/write it with 100% accuracy. I'd really like to go over this and revise it for you, though I don't know how to find where I can edit it..
Example of a revision I would make:
Achievements
Option 760 [Author - Algor]
When performing certain actions in the game heroes gain appropriate achievements. Each achievement has a rank of 1 to 9, and depending on the type and obtained the rank gives the hero special game-bonus.
In the hero screen (or heroes meeting screen) by right-clicking on a hero portrait, you can view list of current achievements of this hero.
This is the current script.
What I would write:

you need script60.ers, script61.ers, script62.ers, script63.ers, script70.ers, script71.ers, script72.ers, script73.ers files.
please open them with TextEditor - it will very comfortable for you
Additional i ve put opt726.txt(there are spells descriptions) - also use TextEditor.
There is link for all you ll need TextEditor+scripts
looks like, you have another version or some another scrips or mod, cause real mod looks like this.
