Actually Faced only one Academy hero sofar.. was a fun game with lots of chat but he had the basic deck so no really a chalange or any exprience with their gameplay on my side

@Elvin: Yeah it mills but it doesn's stall or slow things down in any way, it's fast and dynamic. It's also more fair than Inferno's "take any card from your hand/library" thingy.
That's just my first impression though.

hell yeah!!!!!! poly rocked out on this one - well done man - think in practice you could have easily got the extra 20 win achievements just with our duels and your total decimation of my deck.

Why are there two Akane's?
One from Herald (reward) and Academy hero from FW....
That Spellstealer Wizard is quite hectic against Might of Nature, Light tomorrow and Strength Sea....game changer that one!

Trying to decide what to do with my remaining 16 wildcards at the moment. Options are 3 puppet masters, Ishuma or Might of Nature. Yeah there are more, but those are what im thinking the most at the moment.

Tried Swisses today... absolutely not for me and my current deck it seems. So boring, with the non-boring part decided by your starting hand... ack.
@Sorts: Yes, there is, with bits of lore on forums and in twitch videos... can't give You all the details, because personally, I couldn't care less.

So much waiting time on Swiss as well, and I've also had times where it just randomly decided I lost even though I didn't spend too much time on my rounds. Felt weird.
EDIT:
Lore is cool for atmosphere They should compile some info on their site.
Academy has some slave theme going on with their Stronghold variants... like Harpies just being meatshields for the wizards. That stuff is cool.

Is anyone trying that Gate to Sheogh (Inferno fortune) yet with big creatures (Abyssal Worm / Lord)?
Not sure what to make of this fortune, seems good, but seems situational...

I love Swisses but timeout is really OP for me.
Even though i have a rush deck there is a lot of resource counting and a lot clicking (angel of mercy, Anael, Phoenix) so 7 minutes quite often expires (i've lost 3 duels that i should've won b/c of that and won on;y one that i should've lost).

Anyhow i feel like Sandal is very strong right now. I've encounter a Sandal deck with 4 weeks of training and mostly weenie creatures with 1 or 0 base attack and with SotS they become very strong + AoE dmg. It is one of my weakest matchups.
Any idea how to counter Sandal as Cassa?

Is joining the jackpot tournie during a weekend a better idea. The way i see it the jackpot should be bigger. Am i right? Never took part in jackpot tournie b4.

Gate of Sheogh should work wonderfully with cosmic singularity 
Swiss time is more than enough if you have played for a while. If you run out of time you either need more experience or you are not focused on the duel. Last time I ran out of time it was because I was chatting Painful reminder not to fool around when playing swiss.
What is great about Sandal is that he is consistently good. Bad hands are rare so most of the time he can play aggressively from the start. I've never tried a weenie/training build though, should be fun. You are playing fortune, yes? I'd keep some sunbursts/lightning strikes as a surprise

Sandal doesn't have light magic (for sunburst)
Cosmic singularity works when the cards gets discarded...does this mean discarded out of your hand, or put into graveyard straight from libary (which Gate to Sheogh would do)?
Then, I would like to get that achievement of overkill opponent with 9 damage, am thinking the only factions this is possible with is Stronghold (enrage) and Demon (Worm +inner fires) (or one's using Tower of Oblivion but that's a no no for me!)...

Discarded means directly from your hand.
Sandalphon doesn't have light, Cassandra does, and they are talking about Cassandra against Sandalphon.
It is pretty tough to beat Sandalphon, especially with deck that relies on Fortunes, not just with Cassandra but with any deck. He is kind of all-arounder, like Rancord's Seria, has answers to everything to some extent.
And Week of Training is probably the new Week of the Wild Spirits, it will shift the Meta a lot, and out of all events will probably have the most influence in this expansion. Very cheap way to make your weak attack creatures(or that has weak base attack) very strong.
I know that most new Necro creatures are completely useless, but I am eager to try something like Nergal/Siham with Might of the Nature, Regeneration Poison cloud, and with Putrid Ghouls and Poison Clouds. Sounds fun.
