Now for some advertisment
The second round of the HC No-rare tournament has been finished. Round 3 is not planed yet, but everybody can join the discussion in the tournament's topic.
The topic is not only if and when will the next round start, but also about tournamen rules, card restricions and posible themes for future tournaments.

Even if you did plan ahead getting 2 wc in a box would be a long shot..

I used wild cards to get 4 wc, then drawed from packs 5 more
Still I cannot complain since everything else in my sandal deck I drawed from packs (including sots,sotl and Anael)

That's the thing though, I am not sure if the wild cards make it too easy to complete decks...everyone's got 4 DA's and 4 WC's!
One of the reasons why DoC has become a little complacent for some of us is because there's no drive to get more packs to hope for much needed cards.

All I can say is that I have been buying void packs throughout void and herard times - not to mention swiss where I had 80% winrate - and I never got a single naga tactician. Screw that.

That's the thing...you would be driven to eventually get that Naga Tactitian.
Now you just clicked on your wild cards and got it easy...
Look wild cards are cool, but 21 cards for FW epic should probably about 60 cards...
I completed every set (besides base) on the opening night of FW thanks to 250 wild cards...

You are wrong on both accounts, I would not continue buying void and I did not bother wasting my wildcards on it. You don't seem to realize that even if you play all heroes, you have bought a ridiculously disproportionate amount of packs compared to the cards you can use. Imagine if you had been playing from the beta how many of your packs would have been wasted, I am 172 and I dare not do the math. If anything the devs owed us such a solution for failing to address the issue of random card generation this whole freaking time. Remember, those wildcards you got did not fall from the sky. You had amassed a ludicrously high amount of seals, enough for.. how many? 5-6 boxes? Do you know how many months it would take me to gather those?
Additionally, you have to take into account the rate at which addons are being released. If the devs hadn't done that newcomers would be overwhelmed, they already are. From your perspective things are easy but you have already spent a lot of time leveling and farming, the average player has not. You have reached a position at which wildcards are farmed swiftly but there are lots and lots of hours behind that.

I kind of agree with the both, something like Altar of Wishes was definitely needed, but I still think that you get bug number of wildcards way too easy. I mean, I won 4 swisses and got 2 FW boxes since I start playing(and a lot of HotV and VR packs with just gold), and I managed to buy pretty much everything I wanted...
2 Namtaru Channelers, 3 DAs, 1 Banshee, 1 Shi-no-Shi, Fleshbane, Cassandra, Acamas, 1 Decay Spitter, Might of the Nature, Phrias, Altar of Asha, and some other things.
And at ~1350 rating, I definitely think that every player I meet has everything he needs. There are barely any alternative cards in the deck, which made playing ladder so fun, because you never knew what your opponent has.
Now, every opponent start with 1-2 DAs, has 4 Paos of course, all unique spells/fortunes they need.
The level of play definitely went up, but the fun of facing the opponent just isn't there. I know that every Sandalphon/Cassandra/Dhamiria/Crag Hack got the same cards, there is almost no diversity anymore, and of course, they all play just those decks because they are the most popular ones and they can make them with ease now.

New promos in the shop.
New Box - the Champion Box - 3 Boxes: Basic, Void and Herald for 2,4k seals. Worth the price but i dunno if i wanna spend seals.
Promotions are rather geared towards new players.

Yeah, I foresaw that Most of those deals are either geared towards newcomers or are total rip offs.

i don't think that in this or the last one were any rip-offs (exept Emilio's pack but they are Rip-offs almost always)

@Elvin: I hear you, but it's not that I am wrong, it's just my opinion...not trying to state facts. Facts can be wrong. Opinions are just opinions. But you right, I had amassed a large number of seals and got many packs and wild cards from them, so could get any card I wanted...but that's the nature of the game, you put time in the game and you reap the rewards (like any relationship!).
Still think Wild cards are too cheap. Those epic cards should still be hard to get for expert and beginners.

I recall a sale of a pack for each set for 400+ seals. Even if we converted the amount to gold and found it a good deal, I would still consider it a rip off simplybecause it cost seals.

Wait... What?? Why? .....Whaaaaaat??? o.O
You don't have to convert it to gold.
the 4 packs cost 395 seals. The value of the packs was 461 seals (140+2*120+81). It's not a rip-off.
May i ask what seal-purchased packs are not a rip-offs?
Btw. The Basic Box is a real rip-off.

Plus FW packs you get 3-4 wild cards, so should definately not spend seals on older set deals...
