The werewolves look nice that's pretty much how I imagined them myself. You should animate them. If the result is good I could use them in my mod too

Ye,the big bad wolfies look nice,much better than original The archer looks good also.As for buildings atm the central castle looks out of perspective.The upper-right and lower-left caves look best imo.Well done

Maybe upgrade will not have dress on it?
Its werewolf, not some civilized demon, I think.
I suggest upgrade to be naked, more black (like wolf upgrade) and have blood stains of victims over his body. And red eyes.

They will be darker and based on wolf upgrade, but IMO they look better with the armor and it makes them more different than the un-upgraded creature.

I have been thinking about using the wolves' walking/running animation for werewolves( they metamorph ) and changing lvl 1 tier since wolves are too similar to Stronghold's lvl 2, but that is just an idea as I do not have a replacement for the first tier.
Also regarding the abilities for now are:
Wolf( large )
->Dire Wolf( large, strikes twice)
Moroi( undead, flyer, magic resistance)
->Strigoi( undead, flyer, magic resistance, casts curse on attack)
Voinic( no range penalty)
->Haiduc( no range penalty, spying)
Vampire(flyer, regeneration)
->Blood Count (flyer, life drain)
Werewolf(5% chances to cast basic Berserk on attack)
->Varcolac(5% chances to cast basic Berserk on attack)
Zgriptor(flyer, no retaliation)
->Fierce Zgriptor( flyer, no retaliation, hates nagas and medusas)
Zmei(flyer, lvl 1 receptive spell immunity)
->Balaur(flyer, lvl 1 receptive spell immunity, attack all around, no retaliation)
Of course I'll have to test them to see if they are balanced and to see what needs to be changed. After I'll finish with all the graphic/scripting work I'll need several testers to tell me what needs to be balanced/fixed.

considering that LW made this all by himself, it is a good job.
However I agree with Warmonger had said about the buildings. You should make them more fitting into the background, now it looks like a photo collage or something.
Also, I'd suggest using Hellhound's headfor the werewolf.

I'm working at that, unfortunately, most of the buildings are made out of real photos and it's pretty hard finding the perfect light angle for all, even if I modify their contrast/brightness.
Also, I'd suggest using Hellhound's headfor the werewolf.
It's an interesting idea, wolves will be more different from Stronghold's wolf r(a)iders and my new werewolves.

I'd suggest looking for some rendered buildings around the web that'll fit in to the town's theme.

Ok, if you are wondering, this isn't dead, I have been working with the lighting, trying to do a more pleasant town-screen (I want no more buildings that look like out-of-place). It's harder with 2d pictures, I would do it in 3d, but I don't know any good rendering program( or how to use it ). Also I'm trying to make the buildings blend more with the surroundings(no more weird borders), I hope I got it right so far:

it looks like you've got the lighting right. you might want to try decreasing the contrast some[[on the buildings only]](try increments of -5, when you get close, increments of -2, and so on), as the colors are stronger on the buildings, than on the background. it'll also help to give that "hazy" feel to it, like a mist in the air.
good to see this project is still running, lw.
Edit: Didn't specify what needed decreased contrast. Fixed.
Edit #2: just realized, that if you choose to decrease contrast on the buildings, you should decrease the contrast slightly more on the castle, as it is farther away, and would be seen through more "haze".

You know LW, the interwebz is full of tutorials on various programs such as 3dsmax, they even have textbooks on the subject. All you need to do is to look them up and learn.
Also, that town screen looks really good.
