I don't see a problem with wight/banshee stats, they are mediocre, besides, Death Knights could be slightly higher cost, and they can only be raised from Haven counterparts Cavalier/Paladin/Champion - just throwing ideas

Yes, Wights stats are mediocre but they are unupgraded and who takes banshees anyway? And Wraiths stats are pretty high compared to others of their tier with a nice special. Also who would care about the little higher costs for Death Knights if their true numbers come from Necromancy.
For your suggestion: I'm not a modder but aren't stuff like which creatures can be raised as what hardcoded in the gamefiles and so become unchangeable? (Question is directed to Fauch and other modders)

Nah, its actually quite easy compared to other stuff , good old Storm Giant showed already how , also Banshees are quite powerfull, man, have you tried them with Deidre and a few -morale items, since 3.1 doubled damage, they are QUITE awesome... necro are one of my best factions and probably the only lineup where i use only alternative upgrades ( Ghost Dragons casting Despair at expert level is ridiclously OP, compared to that BLoodeyed Cyclops have -3 luck on hit, while Dragons have -4 luck -4 morale, completely imbalanced if u ask me, good thing i modded it and reduced mastery to Advanced -3, altough it's still far better, but still )

Thx for pointing that out Stormi and UK but I absolutely disagree on the Banshees:

I, for myself, too take alternative upgrades on Necro EXCEPT Banshees (and Poltergeists depending on opponent).

First of, there are way better Necro heroes then Deidre and even if I play or I face Deidre, the first 2 or 3 spells are something like Mass Slow/Confusion, Puppet, Blind or Vampirism but not Banshee Howl. And even with Deidres Banshee Howl, - Moral Artis and Dragons, the enmies moral is rarely under 0 (+ Moral Artis, Leadership, one time boni before battle, same alignment).

Second, Banshees ability is way too situational: Attack them with Dragons first, get the Banshees in Position, have at least 2 or 3 enemy stacks around the Banshees (if not, Banshees normal attack will outscore the damage of Death Wail).

Third: Wraiths are just too good to pass in favour for Banshees. You will lose your only real powerstack if you choose Banshees.

Fourth: Wraiths Harm Touch just outclasses Death Wail. You'll need it for lvl 7 creeping, as dispell and as a Phoenixslayer.

Conclusion: I will never ever take Banshees instead of Wraiths.

Well, that was a bit offtopic, if you want to discuss that further, there is a related topic over at the H5 sub

you need a lot of time to make just one creature

Sorry, but I'm fairly new to modding, and I have very little time to work on this.

Some of the things I'm (hopefully) adding though are completely new, like deathblow.

I was just curious of where to find the ability xdb file for deadly strike (the overpowered neutral death knight ability). Could any fellow modders find this? Couldn't find it in gamemechanics/spells/creature_abilities anywhere

Help would be appreciated

I asked that very question in an other thread 'How much can we change gameplay' , but no one answered, same goes for Archangels Ressurection, Cursing Attack, Large Shield, etc... and almost all of the ORIGINAL heroes abilities, are missing, same goes for Animations for Stronghold units, i can't find them either...

animations are most likely in the characters folders, like every models, textures and animations from TotE.

Maybe something like always trigger Luck (without the animation ofc)
Dunno if thats possible
Edit: Well thats ofc stupid, my bad. Always trigger luck would be always Death Blow and if like 20% chance to trigger then its the same as 4 luck

At this point, unless anyone has any suggestions, deathblow will not be incorperated. I'll just give them other abilities/skills.
